Kiss all your cares goodbye as you gaze upon Mt Katahdin across Ambajesus Lake. The View will take your breath away. We are open for business, and invite you to come up for some serious Maine Social Distancing. Rest assured that I will be doing everything in my power to clean and disinfect the entire lodge between guests Lodge is a beautiful Classic Maine Camp with Cathedral Ceilings, Open Beams, and all the Comforts of home. 50 feet from the water, 200 feet of frontage, 2 sandy beaches

The space
Dak Lodge is at the end of a Peninsula with an Unobstructed View of the mountain. The open floor plan, picture windows and sliding glass doors guarantee a soul soothing view from 90% of the camp. You will be more then comfortable as you sink into the overstuffed Down chase lounge, sofa, or upholstered swivel chairs. Dine in on the handmade Heritage Timber Company table, (you must use The Coasters provided. Watermarks will penetrate this table) or enjoy a picnic by the lake. When darkness falls, you are sure to get a good nights sleep on one of the brand new beds with Casper mattresses. Downstairs there is one bedroom with a King size bed, and upstairs in the loft are 2 full size beds. Camp is comfortable for 2 Couples, or a Family with 1 to 4 kids. Pets are Welcome. Dak Lodge also has a well, and indoor plumbing with one full bathroom and Brand New walk in shower. There is also a very nice outhouse behind the lodge. The water is High in iron, so we do not Recommended drinking it, or cooking with it. there is a natural spring out on the Golden Road if you would like to refill your jugs anytime you are coming or going from camp. The directions are on the fridge. We have a Radio, Wi-Fi and a TV with a built in DVD Player, and HDMI Input, but no Cable, and no streaming. The camp has steps going up to the front door and the back door as well as a dozen steps to reach the loft. Where you’ll be

Millinocket, Maine, United States

There are several other camps on the peninsula, and the top of the driveway is shared with the camp next-door, but Dak Lodge remains fairly private due to its location. We are 20 minutes from Millinocket and 15 minutes from the Trading post. About 30 to 35 minutes from Baxter State Park, and 40 minuets from Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument.
I have added many links to nearby restaurants, sightseeing, and things to do. Be sure to check out Moose Woods Guide Service. Paul is Excellent, and has a wide variety of excursions. Be sure to do your homework before you come up if you plan on visiting Baxter State Park. They have new rules, and regulations, and you will need to reserve a parking space if you plan on Hiking Katahdin. If your going to Climb, Also be sure to book a minimum of 3 nights so you can get an extra parking day reserved incase of bad weather.
