The Yurt is a beautiful round wooden cottage with incredible views looking over Killcare Beach, Bouddi National Park and all the way down the coast to Sydney.
The structure is based on traditional Mongolian yak herders' tents except this one is wooden with a corrugated iron roof which sounds beautiful in the rain. The Yurt has just undergone renovations and has new got a new kitchen and deck as of April 2019

The space
The most wonderful feature of The Yurt is the veranda. A huge expansive thing almost as big as the house itself. Read the papers here in the morning, soak up the sun and have dinner as the sun sets with the sound of waves accompanying your gin and tonic (go easy on the tonic). There is an outdoor setting for 6 along with a Webber Q and an umbrella for shade.

The Yurt has a central round living room with dining table, couches, TV, CD player and a new small kitchen. There are three bedrooms surrounding the main circular room one with a writing desk and a view over the beach and down the coast. There is a modular bathroom with shower to the right of the main entrance.

Bedding:
Bedroom One: Double
Bedroom Two: Double
Bedroom Three: Single

The Yurt is a 10-15 min walk to the beach. A 10 minute walk to Hardy's Bay's cafes and restaurants, and minutes from Bouddi National Park with its deserted beaches, walks and wildflowers. Speaking of bush walks, the access to the yurt is via a short bush track with rough steps made out of stone suitable for those without accessibility challenges.

Killcare Heights, New South Wales, Australia

Killcare is just 1.5 hours north of Sydney and is surrounded by national park so it is very peaceful, beautiful and quite secluded from the rest of the Central Coast. Killcare Beach is a patrolled beach during the warmer months. Putty Beach at Killcare is also popular for surfing, snorkeling and fishing. A wonderful rock pool is located just near the surf club which features a cafe, restaurant and popular wedding venue. Just over the hill is glorious Hardys Bay where you can hire boats, play tennis or just enjoy the wonderful cafes and restaurants and peaceful water views. There are many great walks in the area and if you feel like exploring, the Central Coast has many activities on offer.
