With Sandcastles Beach House just a mere three minute walk along the path to the finest beach on the island and our beach's sandy, broad expanse and gentle slope it is perfect for family fun. You can walk for hours and never run out of beach.

The space
Sandcastles Beach House is a cozy and spacious semi with two fully self-contained, private, 2-level units - Duneside and Meadowside. You'll find tongue and groove pine throughout your unit for that warm, cozy, relaxing feel. And yet, you'll find lots of room to spread out - in the bedrooms, bathroom, wrap-around deck and open concept living, dining and kitchen area. The master bedroom has an en-suite balcony with views of the ocean, beach and pond. The second bedroom sleeps up to three. The bathroom is family-sized and comes complete with a full-sized washer and dryer. There is also an outdoor shower. Mattresses are comfy and you'll find the independent coil system on the sofa bed also makes it super comfy. We supply Wi-fi, a 55" 4K UHD Smart TV and all modern conveniences as well as a clothesline and beach toys. We are minutes from 7 golf courses, biking trails, deep-sea fishing, restaurants and galleries. Our guests tell us that Sandcastles is "enchanting" and our location is "breathtaking". We feel you will agree!

Sandcastles easily fills the needs of everyone from individual couples to groups of up to 14 celebrating reunions of families or groups of friends. We can customize in this way because our two units are adjoining and yet fully private and self-contained. So you can rent just one side and soak up all the beauty our location offers. Or, if you are with a larger group you can rent both sides, sharing meals and good times when you choose and yet still have the freedom to enjoy the privacy of dining and relaxing in your own unit.

Neighbourhood highlights

Sandcastles Beach House is located on Island Beach Drive with a large clover-filled field on one side. On the other side nothing but grass and dune grass separate us from the dunes. MacKay Pond (also known as Morrison Pond) borders our front lawn placing us in a bird lover's paradise. The pond abounds with great blue herons and seabirds of all types. You can sit on our upper or lower deck and marvel at our resident eagles as they soar over the pond. At dusk, ever changing sunsets explode onto the pond just outside the patio doors. And of course the beach is the focal point of our neighbourhood and provides endless entertainment.
