Surrounded by cherry orchards, Carroll House is an 860 sqft, two bedroom, one bath guesthouse, located in the Mosier hills. The house can comfortably host 6 people(1 queen, 2 twin, 1 full size air mattress). Open concept living space with dine-in kitchen.

This space was designed for slow, cozy living. I hope you enjoy every part of your visit, from making local coffee, watching the sun set, stargazing, and making popcorn while you catch up on your favorite show.

The space
For over 100 years Carroll House has sat overlooking the cherry orchards of the Mosier Valley. Built by the original owners of the property George and Emma Carroll, the structure was originally used as an equipment workshop. Completely renovated in 2018, Carroll House at Cherry Hill Farm now looks forward to hosting guests as it begins this new chapter in this beautiful valley.

Other things to note
**COVID-19**
What I am doing as a host:
1. I am following all the CDC guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting
2. I have the house stocked with tissues, paper towels, laundry detergent and vinegar, first aid kit, hand soap, dish soap, and I am providing a spray bottle of 3% hydrogen peroxide to put disinfecting back in your control.
3. I am practicing shelter in place and I am the person cleaning the airbnb
4. I am local, so you can ask me about safe ways to social distance while on vacation
*Other Bonuses
1. Carroll House is it's own separate building giving you space to social distance
2. You can take walks and bike rides right from the property

other things....
Because the home uses a gravity fed well, water pressure (especially during showers) may not be consistent. Welcome to the country!

Mosier, Oregon

Get away from it all while still being close enough to everything. We are a tiny town, with one restaurant/coffee shop, one church, one school, one post office, and lots of passionate people. Mosier has three, diversely different wineries, heirloom and organic u pick cherries, two hard cider distilleries and a local market that features local produce and products. The earlier mentioned restaurant/coffee shop is locally owned and operated and the coffee is roasted in house. Mosier has several beautiful hikes, lots of roads and trails for biking, a swimming hole, spring time wild flowers, and a small sandspit for kiting/wind surfing.

The Columbia River Gorge

Mosier is one of the towns along the Columbia River and included in the National Scenic Area. The Columbia River Gorge is home to 90 waterfalls on the Oregon side alone. There is world class kite boarding, wind surfing, rafting, fishing, boating, kayaking, etc, etc...the gorge is also home to the Historic Columbia River Highway, many wineries, artisan beers, seasonal fruits and vegetables, amazing restaurants. The gorge truly has something for everyone.

I moved my family from the suburbs to the country a few years ago. And while there are many things we love about rural living, there are a few things we miss, namely, convenience and neighbors. So, I repurposed an outbuilding on the property into a guest house and invite you to share in our country space. Come meet our sheep and chickens, enjoy the view and pick some cherries.
