Where you’ll be

Homewood, Illinois, United States

Boulderstrewn is in the Ravisloe neighborhood of Homewood. A great neighborhood for walking. As noted in the summary, a short walk to the Amtrak and Metra trains, and a short walk to downtown Homewood and many shops and restaurants. If you are visiting the Canadian National Railway (CN) Homewood Campus, it is possible to walk there in 20 minutes, or drive in 3.

I am a professor of Earth Science. Usually use Airbnb for attending science conferences, but also while traveling on vacation usually with kids. I split my time between Illinois where they live and Baton Rouge where my job is. Now getting into hosting as well. I host using years of Airbnb guest experience and know what is important.

During your stay

I try to minimize my interaction with guests since I know that's the way I like it when I book an Airbnb. Check-in and check-out are meant to be easy and done without needing me. But help is just a call away if you need it. My neighbor helps out when I can't
