I am Stacia Byer, co-host for Garrett. I am a property investor, with over one year of Airbnb experience. Estrella gave us a bad review because I criticized her, saying she was impolite and heartless. After allowing her to stay another 3 hours free, I came home to find her gone and the air conditioner running for another 3 hours after that. Instead of apologizing for this, she challenged me on it. After I requested an apology for this, she suddenly falsely accused the next-room guest of making too much noise; we have a tenant living next to that room who heard nothing.
(Website hidden by Airbnb) First, the claim that the room is run down and dusty is false. I think Estrella is overly picky and falsely accuses me of not providing clean linens. Luckily I had an Airbnb couple eye-witness our washing those linens
(Website hidden by Airbnb) Second, regarding the outside clutter, in the process of setting up Airbnb rooms we replaced a lot of furniture. The items that made it appear cluttered have now been removed from the property.
Third, I texted Estrella on the second day of her stay to ask how was her stay. She replied, “I wanted to message you in the morning and confirm everything is great, I slept really well but didn’t want to bother as much as I already have. Thank you for working with me.” The TV was tested before we set up the Airbnb; it got the local channels like a normal TV. We even provided a direct Wi-Fi cable connection that worked fine.
