Located 3 kms from Dartmouth, South Devon, Chalet 310 is a great Bolthole offering low cost, high standard holiday accommodation at Norton Park, featuring privately owned chalets on a beautifully maintained 19 acre site. The chalet has one of the Park's peaceful prime locations, with views from the front towards the South Hams (hills) across farmland and a lovely rear view aspect onto a large green open space. Park & Ride, Supermkts, fuel, and indoor pool are 1km away, X64bus service in season.

The space
Recently refurbished, the chalet is now fully equipped with a brand new kitchen including cooker, dishwasher and fridge freezer. there are plenty of cooking utensils as well as tea towels. The lounge/dining room has a large comfortable sofa, coffee table and the latest smart TV & DVD with sound system. There is also a dining table with 4 chairs.The two bedrooms have new quality beds, the twin room has Tempur mattresses. The double room has a 140cms bed with a traditional mattress. Natural cotton bedding is provided as well as hyper allergenic 4 seasons duvets and pillows. Also provided are one bath and one hand towel per guest as well as tea towels and hand towels for the kitchen . Guests to provide their own Beach towels. The inner lobby is a handy place to hang coats and gives access to the shower room, which has an electric shower, a programmable heated towel rail and a small wash basin.There is a separate toilet. Outside the chalet is the perfect place to sit and watch the sun go down after a day out. Electricity and cleaning is included in the rental price but should you need to access the electricity meter it is located under the corner cupboard next to the big kitchen drawer unit. There is a full information pack at the chalet.

Guest access
The chalet is on a very peaceful park so we ask all guests to keep noise levels to a minimum particularly on returning late at night to the chalet. No BBQs are permitted directly on the grass.The grounds are communal, please DO NOT leave items on the grass or elsewhere. Parking must be in one of the designated bays, NO parking on the road, on any of the grassed areas or, in front of the garage. Please place all rubbish in the correct recycle bins they are clearly marked. Strictly no camping.

Other things to note
No smoking is permitted inside or outside the chalet . No dogs allowed. We do think chalet 310 is suitable for young children as there is plenty of outside space to play in, but there are no facilities at the park. However, it is very relaxing place especially after a hard day at the seaside. The chalet is not equipped with a washing machine, there is a launderette in Dartmouth town centre. Please remember to bring your BEACH towels.

The South Hams area has plenty to offer the visitor, the beautiful historic naval town of Dartmouth is only 3kms away from the chalet park. Totnes an Elizabethan town with a Norman Castle is certainly worth a visit - market days are Friday and Saturday. On the other side of the Dart River is the National Trust's property Greenway House -formally Agatha Christie's country residence. Not far from Greenway is Coleton Fishacre another NT house owned by the D'oyly Carte family. From the chalet it is approx a 15 minute drive to one of the most beautiful privately owned beach at Blackpool Sands with it's award winning Venus cafe. Car parking charges apply.

I currently own and run a rug business based at the lovely Wells market in Somerset and online via The Dhurrie Club website. Having been self employed in the retail sector for most of my adult life, l like to offer my customers a nice product, at the right price and with good customer service. During your stay
Hopefully you shouldn't need any assistance during your stay but if you do and for emergencies only, please speak to Phil our Site Manager, he is based at the bungalow which is situated on the left hand half way up the drive. Also, George is the handyman who also lives on site and will be able to help with any minor issues at the chalet.
