Casa Quetzal is our vacation home, not just an income producing rental. The home is occupied by our family and friends much more than rented. As such we make every effort to have all the comforts of home available for our guests. Most of us are foodies and we love to cook! That means the extra large kitchen is always very well stocked. From a huge array of spices to staples like flour, sugar, olive oil and condiments. There's a small herb garden that, depending on the time of year, will keep you stocked with rosemary, oregano and thyme. We love to eat outdoors and the outdoor dining set is really comfortable. There is a stainless steel BBQ and the whole area can be lit at night. The house has 3 bedrooms, two kings (new 11/16) one queen (also new 11/16) and two bathrooms. Over all it's 1850 square feet of indoor living space. The master has a private bath and french doors leading out to the pool. The third bedroom has direct access to the courtyard. We have a dedicated dinning room with seating for eight.
Our home has a separate living room and family/media room. Both have gas fireplaces but we only use the one in the media room. The house has both an evaporative cooling system as well as A.C. and there are ceiling fans in every room except the kitchen and dining room.
There is wireless internet throughout the home. In the garage we have a full size washer and dryer.
Help yourself to the fresh grapefruit on our two trees. Eat them whole or use our electric juicer to drink them up!
Interaction with guests
Our caretaker will meet guests upon check in and go over some of the homes features. He is a long time Palm Springs resident and can offer information on restaurants, entertainment and pretty much any questions you might have about the area. In the event of a problem he can generally be at the house with in 30 minutes. We have twice a week pool service and once a week yard maintenance so things always look fresh.

We have a 4 night minimum in high season and 3 nights in low season.
Our home is non smoking/no pets. Our City of Palm Springs occupancy permit number is 6383, and the transient occupancy tax is included in the rental.

This is not a "party" home. It is our vacation home and we enjoy it a lot. We take great pride in keeping everything nice for all of our guests and ask that potential partiers find another property. We will strictly enforce a quiet time from 10:00pm-8:00am. Our neighbors are more than happy to keep us appraised. The City of Palm Springs has very strict noise regulations and will issue citations for even one violation. Short term renters are not allowed to have any amplified music outdoors. This even includes phones, laptops etc. Any noise citation/fine incurred by a guest will be withheld from the security deposit.
The maximum occupancy is 6 adults and the minimum age for renting our home is 25 years. Our home is also non smoking, however a cigar out by the pool at cocktail hour isn't frowned upon.
