The Perched cabin is one of our three cabins. We also have the Apple Tree and the Poplar cabin. This is glamping at its best. Window walls letting light into every side. A sleeping loft. Built with logs. Well equipped for cooking. Heated with woodstove - firewood included. In the middle of the forest. A lot of trails to enjoy. No neighbours. The perfect spot to unwind. We are farmers, a precise time of arrival is important. You are welcome to visit the farm.

Located at MARIPOSA FARM in Plantagenet - within an hour from Ottawa, ONTARIO and an hour and a half from Montreal, QUEBEC.
This cabin offers spectacular views. A sleeping loft keeps gears out of the way and maximizes floor space - 380 sq feet. Window walls letting light into every side. Built with logs. You can drive and park your car at the cabin.
WHAT'S INCLUDED? 1 double mattress and pillows, 1 comforter and set of sheets. Wood stove and outside BBQ. Cooking equipment (to use only if you commit to clean them after usage): 1 frying pan, 1 pot, 1 ladle, 1 flipper, 1 kettle, utensils ( 2 of each - knives, forks, spoons), 2 plates, glasses, mugs and bowls. Dish tray, dish soap and towels. 10 liters of drinkable water. Cabin heating wood.
OUTHOUSE: Located near the cabin -20 feet.
SHOWER: Shower available at the main farmstead.
LIGHTING: LED light with battery and solar panel provided.
WHAT TO BRING? Food, sleeping bags (recommended in winter only), flashlights, headlight, matches, towels, personal soap and any specific cooking equipment (coffeepot, etc.).
