Loved the location of this apartment. It's a perfect French apartment with a nice kitchen, we cooked breakfast every morning and it was wonderful. It's very close to the metro, has an amazing balcony to watch regular life walk bye. The area is not touristy at all, and it's very nice to have a nice calm place to come back to after a busy day sightseeing. The host was very gracious and a wonderful person.

We rented two of these apartments and felt like we were truly in a Parisian neighborhood. They were charming. I will agree with previous reviews that the buildings are older, so one should not go in expecting otherwise. We had an issue with a light, and a handyman was sent over to fix it. To that note, the apartments are wonderfully charming. Great value. Great location. Great info left available to guests. I recommend these apartments.

We had a great summer in this apartment. It's conveniently located next to the 8 metro line and by a small grocery. It was very easy to work with Alexis as we are English speakers and that is her native language. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking as well, which we loved! The bathroom is strange because the toilet is near the front door and you have to wash your hands in the kitchen or there's a sink and shower in the bathroom, but it wasn't a big deal or a problem. Just a little funny quirk! Alexis helped us get packages delivered that we were having a problem with. She went out of her way to help with that which was so kind. The house doesn't have ac, but we were there for 5 weeks and the windows and fan worked great at keeping the place cool. We'd definitely stay in this apartment again!

Our stay in Paris was enhanced by our perfect apartment in the 15th arrondissement. We arrived having followed the excellent instructions. A brief orientation was all we needed and then we had six nights in a charming apartment in a great location. The 15th is literally not on the map when it comes to tourist recommendations yet it is the kind of neighborhood that has everything you need and access to the very efficient subway system just two blocks away. Paris has many little neighborhoods and this one certainly has all the amenities we needed. We had excellent shops nearby selling cheese, meats, roasted chicken, award winning breads and all the fruits and vegetables you might want. Of course if you don't want to eat in there are numerous good restaurants in the neighborhood. Discovering the 15th and this apartment made our first long trip to Paris all the better. Thank you to Alexis and Marie.

A California expat with family roots in France, I moved to Paris full time in 2012. I host travelers in four properties that have been in my family for generations. Three are in Paris (in the same building) and one in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat. My properties feel like family homes because they are! I speak English and French and I love giving travelers an authentic experience by sharing tips on where to go and what to do in this beautiful city that I am lucky to call home.
