My garden is south facing and enjoys sun throughout the day. There are a variety of seating areas both under cover and in the open.
Attached to the kitchen there is a long conservatory which also has a variety of comfy chairs.
The living room is small and cosy with a log burning fire. Also in the living room is a small piano and a variety of musical instruments, feel free to sit by the fire or play the instruments.

No tea making facilities in the bedroom but feel free to help yourself in the kitchen and drink it wherever you choose.

My road is parallel to the High Street which contains a variety of cafes, pubs and interesting shops. There is always something going on to keep most people amused.
Very close to bus stops that can take you to Clarkes village where you can binge shop if you're that way inclined.
The historical city of Wells is 20mins away.
Cows and countryside all around.
A good supply of large supermarkets and whole food shop and the Beautiful Dorset coast an hour and a half away.
Bath, Bristol and Frome approx 40-60mins away. And of course the Glastonbury Festival (6miles away but easily accessed by bus)
And more.....

I'm 57, fun loving and adventurous. I'm very down to earth and practical. I love gardening and all activities based in and around the home. I'm musical and play the piano, guitar and ukulele. I love singing. I used to be a registered nurse working with people with learning disabilities . Seven years ago I had a bout of illnesses and this forced me to reassess my life. I now work as a micro provider, caring for people in their own homes. I live in the beautiful and quirky town of Glastonbury. Life here is unusual. There's always something going on. Being a small town, it's hard to walk up the high street and not bump into someone I know. I love cows and quite often I can smell them when I open the door. I'm not far from the fields and the high street is just a five min. Walk so I have the best of both worlds. I'm very family orientated and I'm lucky to have my sister who lives in a parallel street and both my parents living in the neighbouring town of Wells. I have used Airbnb before but I don't think this shows up as I have since changed my email address. Although I love singing I can't stand musicals. I have travelled quite a bit in the past...... Holland, USA, Australia, Egypt, Tobago and a couple of years ago I visited Cuba with my daughter which was a fantastic experience. As a guest I will be very respectful of your property.

During your stay
I have a male lodger called Rindert (Dutch) who also lives in the house. We both lead fairly busy lives and are in and out throughout the day. You can choose to join us in conversation or relax with minimum interference in your own room.
