Causeway Farm has a charming and spacious Ontario farmhouse located on a beautiful property that boasts a 12 acre private pond. You are perfectly placed to enjoy Fall colours, u-pick, country fairs, wine tours, hiking or cycling - or just unwind in a magical retreat on our country estate. We are a near neighbour of St. Anne's Spa. We do not live here, but are available at need.

The space
The house has two levels. There is a full kitchen, large dining room, study, living room with views of the pond, full laundry, recreation room and powder room on the main level. Upstairs, the Master bedroom has its own bathroom, while the remaining three bedrooms share a bathroom. The house retains the charm of the past with gothic-style windows, and antiques, yet has modern conveniences.

This is a peaceful, pastoral area of rolling hills, farms, and small woods. There are activities in all four-seasons for everyone from beaches to skiing, festivals, markets, fishing, hiking - and more! Our Farm offers outdoor walks in all seasons. There are numerous charming towns and villages nearby (Cobourg, Port Hope, Grafton, Campbellford, Warkworth, Roseneath...) where antique-shopping, farmer's markets, exceptional food, and numerous festivals and activities are available. For Winter activities, we are close to cross-country trails in Northumberland Woods. For Spring, Fall, and Summer activities, we are very close to Lake Ontario which offers several beaches, to hiking trails such as Northumberland Woods, Oak Ridges, and Peter's Woods, and to cycling trails.
