South facing rustic stone built barn conversion for 4 people close to Acomb village within the Dark Sky National Park. A private garden from which to enjoy stunning views and stargaze. Hadrian's Wall, Hexham market town, country walks, cycle routes and village pubs all a stones throw from the doorstep. The only Michelin Star restaurant in Northumberland, Hjem is 10 mins away, transport provided upon request.

The space
A beautiful 2 bedroom property with 2 en-suite bathrooms
Entrance to the property from ground level into a open plan kitchen, dining living area with floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking the stunning countryside views. Double sliding doors open out on to a beautiful lawned private south facing sunny garden. In addition there are 2 patios for your exclusive use to the front of the barn capturing morning and evening sun
Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor comprising of a double bed which faces onto floor to ceiling windows, looking out onto the garden, and green rolling hills beyond. There is an en-suite bathroom attached with a waterfall shower, washing facilities and toilet. The bedroom has ample storage for clothes.
Bedroom 2 is on the first floor, with an en-suite bathroom with waterfall shower, washing facilities and toilet. Running the length of the barn this beautiful bedroom has a roll top bath at the heart of it, situated in front of the west facing window from which you can soak up the views.

Located in the heart of the Northumberland National Park situated perfectly to enjoy country, coast, town or city.

The quaint village of Acomb is within walking distance and has 3 traditional pubs. There is a local sports field, tennis court and play park. There are a few pub restaurants, including The Rat at Anwick, and Errington Coffee House walk able in the other direction. The famous Michelin Star restaurant Hjem is 10 mins away in the beautiful village of Wall.

We are a mile from Hadrian's Wall and you will be able to enjoy a plethora of walks or cycles direct from the door. Many coffee houses and pubs dot the line of the wall, The Sill an excellent place to learn about the history of Emperor Hadrian's 84 mile wall and the rise and fall of his Northumberland empire. From here you can visit Sycamore's Gap, the tree made famous by Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman in Robin Hood.

The medieval villages of Blanchlands and Corbridge are steeped in history, and great places to enjoy some local food. With Corbridge being an excellent place to pick up some local artisan groceries and souvenirs.

Kielder National Park is reachable within an hour. The award winning Observatory the perfect place from which learn how to stargaze under the National Dark Sky Park. Excellent walk ways and cycle ways, water sports and a tourism boat can be enjoyed on reservoir. George Clark's amazing space can be found within the dense forest.

The stunning Northumberland coastline can be reached within an hour, Alnwick Castle made famous by Harry Potter, Craster with its traditional smoke houses. Haltwhistle has a outdoor swimming pool complete with water slides.

The beautiful market town of Hexham is a walk away, here you can visit the historic Abby, the farmers market, many eateries and shops.
Hexham Racecourse is set up high on the hill and a lovely spot to picnic from whilst enjoying the horses.
The river Tyne has many activities including the best Salmon Fishing, rowing, and paddle boarding.
There are plenty of local amenities in Hexham for those rainy days such as bowling alley, indoor swimming, cinema and Queen Hall theatre.

Golf lovers can reach some of the nations best courses including Close House, Slaley Hall, Hexham Golf Course, Tyne Green and Matfen Hall.
There are many National Trust properties nearby including Cragside House and Wallington Hall.

Enjoy many visiting places nearby made famous by authors such as Catherine Cookson, L.J Ross, Anne Cleaves and others.

Newcastle City Centre, and The Metro Centre can be reached in half an hour driving, or buses and trains from Hexham.
