Our beautiful, historic, 2 bedroom home, with private parking is located in the most sought-after neighbourhood in Quebec City. It's a few steps from the city's largest park, art museum, express buses, restaurants, and you can walk to old quebec.
Our beautiful, historic, 2 bedroom home, with private parking is located in the most sought-after neighbourhood in Quebec City. It's a few steps from the city's largest park, art museum, express buses, and street-side restaurants. The old city is a 15 minute walk.
The house comfortably fits 4. The house if very large for a 2 bedroom, so if someone is willing to sleep on the couch or one a mat on the floor, the home can easily fit 6. There is one portable air conditioner, but the house is generally cool since it's brick and Quebec doesn't get that hot.
The neighbourhood is near everything. You can walk 2 blocks to Rue Cartier, which is filled with great restaurants, cafe's, shopping, supermarkets, ice cream, bakeries...
The walled part of the city (old quebec) is a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute bus ride.
There is a large, beautiful park at the end of our road, as is the Art Museum. You honestly can't live in a better part of the city.
Someone will be there to help you get settled and help you if you need anything during your stay.
Public transportation is at both ends of our road. You can easily get anywhere from our home using public transportation.
We will provide direction to guest regarding how to get the keys, after their photo-identification has been validated.
Interaction with guests
We will be hear to give you the keys and answer any questions you may have.
Other things to note
The house has 4 levels (basement + 3 floors) We rent the 4th floor of the house on a permeant basis. The renter is extremely quiet and friendly, and has a private entrance.

1.Please do not wear shoes in the house. Our floors are very sensitive.
(website hidden) not park in the street for more than an hour or you may get a ticket. Please park your car behind the house.
3.Feel free to use anything that’s in the refrigerator or pantry – peanut butter, fruit, condiments, cream...There is also coffee in the cabinet above the coffee maker.
4.Feel free to have wine, beer, or alcohol that’s in the house, but please replace it before you leave.
5.The plumbing hasn’t been updated, so please don’t use too much toilet paper at one time.
6.If you fill-up the garbage bag in the kitchen, you can through it in one of the big garbage containers in the alley behind the house.
1.Check-out is at Noon.
2.When you check-out, please make sure that you have stripped the beds and cleaned any dishes/started the dishwasher. You don’t have to do laundry or clean the floors. But please bring your sheets and towels to laundry room in the basement.
3.Please return the key to the garage (the same place).
I'm a Professor at U Laval. I'm American and moved here with my wife (who is from Quebec) about 8 years ago. Honestly, I would never leave now. This is the most wonderful city in N. America.
