The space
The Space
Our home is set on a huge corner lot surrounded by mature trees.

Bedroom #1, located on the second floor, has a 32” TV with Roku, Netflix, mini fridge and ensuite bathroom.

The room has a coffee nook with a Keurig coffee maker, kettle, microwave, dishes, mugs and glasses and a selection of complimentary coffee and tea 24/7.

Guest access
Guests share living rooms and dining room with us. The front porch, with its couch, chairs and bistro set, is exclusively for the use of guests. There is ample parking at the back of the property and a locked garage.

The kitchen, back deck and back yard are not part of the shared space and owners’ sleeping quarters and bath are set apart from the guest rooms.

In order to respect your privacy and ours, we may spend evenings in private areas of our house – but we will always be only a text away.

Other things to note
Please note that all bedrooms are located on the second floor of the house. As well, please note that there is AC in your room, but our home is not air conditioned. We have plenty of fans and lots of shade, so it is generally very comfortable here.

Lives in Brighton, Canada
I moved to this area from the Toronto Beach neighbourhood in December 2017. As a health care communications consultant, I work from my home office the majority of time and wanted more....a bigger house, a car, and closer proximity to nature. Originally, I was looking at Prince Edward County and then I fell in love with this house. I really did! Only after moving to Brighton did I realize just how beautiful Northumberland County is and all that it has to offer. I wanted a big home so that I could host my friends, family and Airbnb guests. I really want people to enjoy my home and the county as much as I do. The bonus is that it is only 1.5 hours from Toronto, where I still keep a sailboat and frequently return for visits and appointments. My business mission statement is: "To work on interesting projects, with good people for good causes." My mission as an Airbnb host is: "To provide a safe and comfortable home base for guests to have a wonderful get-away" I also hope to learn from my guests every step of the way. Sandra
