Nice and clean studio apartment. Agnes was very considerate host and gave all the detailed information regarding our stay. Highly recommend to have her as a host when in Helsinki.

Agnes was a perfect host, really helpful and friendly, her apartment is small and comfortable, perfect for two people. The Helsinki center is very near and reachable by foot (30min) or by bike (10min). The only bad notes is about the district: not so calm and pleasant as described. Lot of homeless and people who yells in the street, we also assisted to an immigrants fight. The pubs near the house are frequented by not very well intention people. By the way if you use the public bikes (which I very recommend) you can go to the city center in few minutes!

Response from Agnes:
The problems with the noise and drunk people on the evenings might happen mostly on the weekends. In general, it's also a quite common issue with most of the centrally located areas of Helsinki. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Great location, direct bus to/from airport stops outside the door. Subway stop on corner. Excellent second hand store nearby with great prices on designer glassware. Walking distance to jewel of Helsinki, Sompasauna, a 24/7 free public sauna run by community volunteers. Close to everything. Flexible check in. Agnes, who was out of town and had a friend set up the apartment, was readily available electronically to deal with a linen issue.

I travel a lot that's why I make my room available for newcomers during the times of my absence. It's about mutual benefits and sustainability: you consume less while staying in private premises, I spent less while partially covering the rent from the fee you pay while staying over, and most of all we get in touch which is potential for whatever next in itself. That's why it's important for me to introduce my habitat to people who understand this kind of values with sensitivity and responsiveness. I'm far away from letting in whoever able to pay for it.
