Welcome to The Great Lakes Region. Nestled between two other ports this quiet port boasts the best perch fishing on Lake Erie Canada.
Bring your rod and reel to try and get that big one. Just a 2 minute drive to the pier, or a leisurely walk, will likely have you hankering to get out on the lake, which we will be able to connect you with one of the local Charter companies to fulfill that desire if you so wish. Ours is a work in progress at this time.

The space
The house over looks Lake Erie. It is one bedroom in this rustic cottage style Vicroy home. It is the only year round choice we have available. Perfect for that weekend getaway. Just a few short minutes drive to the beaches, bon fires on the beach, or just stay back with 2 fire pits right here on the property. listening to the sounds of waves crashingin thevenig while you relax after a long day of what ever pleases you.

Guest access
You will have access to the whole yard which includes a waterfall feature, a hot tub for melting the long eventful day away, 2 fire pits, free parking

Other things to note
There is no grocery store in this town. The closest are Port Stanley, Aylmer, when the bridge is fixed and St. Thomas.

Welcome to The Great Lakes Region. Port Burwell is 15 minute due east with one of the longest sand bars in the area. It respects our Navel heritage with the static display of the HMCS Ojibwa Submarine. As well, one of the oldest lighthouses on the north shore. If nude sun bathing is your thing, they have that too.
15 minutes due west is the quaint little town of Port Stanley. Also known for it's fishing heritage. In recent years expansion of a newly renovated break water pier, and interactive park, allows a romantic walk out into the lake. Now open to the public. A picturesque Port with night life for all tastes. Live music that will tickle anyone fancy.
Who will enjoy our community?

Motorcyclists will get to enjoy CRUISE THE COAST ROUTE, a 6 hour, 263km/163mile ride along the north shore of Lake Erie. Riding port to port. If your timing is perfect, Port Dover hosts the largest Canadian Motorcycle rally every Friday the 13th. Entered into the Guinness Book of World Records, for the Most bikes in one place, in one day. The rally is a weekend event boasting more than100,000 visitors .

My husband, Damian and I, love to travel and are eager to have you as our guests. We have worked hard to create a space that is tranquil and relaxing. We are very knowledgeable of the area and can provide a relaxing or social experience once you're back from your daily adventures, in this diverse beach community. Whether it's people watching, sunbathing, collecting beach glass, searching for that perfect piece of drift wood, or fishing from the pier in the Perch capital of Ontario, you can come back and unwind with a relaxing hot tub soaking in the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach and then topping it all off with marshmallows over an open fire. Our children have moved on, so we moved into a smaller home, where it's very private and peaceful, overlooking Lake Erie! We have always loved traveling, but can now enjoy the luxuries of vacationing, right here in our own little oasis. We want to share this simple escape from the rat race of our daily lives, melting our cares away in the hot tub or sitting by our peaceful camp fire, while star gazing waiting for that elusive shooting star. We love our serenity out here and now would like to share it with you.
