Local buses / trains on the doorstep. Approximately 15 mins from junc 29a M1. Very peaceful.

Ideal for Welbeck School of Artisan Cookery, Harley gallery, 7 mins by car. Sherwood pines/ forest, Bolsover castle, Clumber Park, English heritage /National Trust sites, county parks and archeology sites, walking cycling, fishing.

Covid sanitisation

The space
Wesleyan chapel, built 1896, then in later years extended. After the closure off the pits the building became a Heritage Center, when this closed, the building was renovated into 3 properties, the oldest part now being our home.
Your room has a super king bed, en-suite shower room, WiFi,tv,usb points, snacks ( additional charges), toiletries, hairdryer, iron on request
You will be welcomed into a clean large, but with a cosy feel, home.
Covid info: we request masks to be worn outside o the room, bacterial bell is available, and rooms will be air purified before and after each guest, cleaned and sanitised.

Kitchen and dinning area, available am and early evening, tea / coffee available free of charge in downstairs area
LIGHT MEALS may be cooked (via microwave use) we ask guests not to eat meals in the room, but to use the dinning area
cereal or toast available, payment by honesty pot.
Due to Covid, access to areas outside off the room may be reduced, to ensure safety of guests and hosts, please contact us if you have any questions.

Other things to note
2 local public houses walking distance, serving food until 9pm, chemist, 2 convenience stores (open 7 days). Cash machine, post office.
Cereal /toast available, payment via honesty pot
take away breakfast available from 6.30am at local convenience store, 3 mins away in village.
Price is per person. Children under 2 free, over 2 years but under 11 years £ 10 if sharing same room pre notification required

Previously a mining village, until it’s closure many years ago along with many others.
Very quiet at night, reasonable neighbourhood, under regeneration, people very friendly, no known problems in neighbourhood
Local cricket pitch, and children’s play area directly opposite the chapel, local public houses within walking distance, serving food, convenience store (7 days a week) and chemist.
Poulters country park, 2 mins walk from front door, great place to relax and walk.

Wellbeck artisan, cookery school 7mins drive, farm shop, museum and garden centre, to the rear of the garden centre is the Wellbeck estate.
Mansfield 6miles 20 mins, Clumber Park 5 miles, easy access to numerous popular points of interest

We are available on premises, should you have any problems or need information we will try and accommodate where we can, but due to Covid we are limiting interaction
