I stayed with Francesca and her family for a week. She is a charming and friendly host and she went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and welcome. Trastevere can be very lively at night, but the apartment is on a quiet and tree-lined street with easy access to public transportation. I will ask to stay there again the next time I visit Rome.

I really enjoyed staying at Francesca’s home. Her family are great hosts and I felt like I was a part of them during my stay. They offered me food and gave me great advice. The location is great in the quiet part of the less touristy area Trastevere. There are nice restaurants and nightlife nearby. You can visit all the Roman attractions by walking or taking the bus/trolley. I highly recommend staying with Francesca next time you are in Roma.

Francesca's place was in a convenient location - close to public transportation and close enough to walk to the main sites if want to. The neighborhood is family friendly and there are a lot of great dining options. The room is simple and clean. She has lots of guide books and a map for your convenience. I shared a bathroom with her teenage son and it felt a little tight but manageable. It's good value if you are going to be out all day and just need a place to rest your head. They also have a cat.

Honestly, you've never used that bathroom, of course it was manageable!

It was my first stay in Rome and I'm glad to be in Francesca's home. It is a real Italian family: they are funny, hospitable, ready to help at any time. And I like their Italian speech and manners the most))) My apartment was nice and cosy, it is placed very close to every place of interests, markets and cafes. Trastevere district is a very interesting place where you can see the real Italian life! Don't hesitate, just come here)

Small and basic but nice room in a stylish Roman apartment, very conveniently located in Trastevere, near trams 3 and 8, and close to lots of local cafés and eateries. A nice opportunity to live in an authentic residence.

Staying at Francesca's apartment in Rome was wonderful! The location is a perfect, Trastevere is a fun neighborhood and close enough to the main city. The apartment has a nice piano and cool art decorations. Francesca was a nice host and her son Adriano was cool, funny and helped me a lot! I had a great time in Rome, thanks!

Francesca's place was totally comfortable and perfect for a few days in Rome. The location in Trastevere is fantastic and the apartment itself is very beautiful. I didn't meet Francesca but she was very reliable with her text messages. Upon arrival her son helped me with my many bags and was very accommodating and kind. Although you're sharing the living room/kitchen, and the two bathrooms with Francesca's family, I didn't see them again after my first day as they'd be in their rooms by the time I returned in the evenings. I was glad to find quiet solitude there. The light is beautiful in the kitchen/living room although my room was a bit dark. My visit was quiet and peaceful and just what I needed. Grazie Francesca!
