Two-bedroom, guest house in a 16th century farm complex on 7 acres of Normandy's greenest pasture, situated in the middle of a national park. The cottage was fully renovated in 2008 but maintains the authenticity of the original building.

The space

A true French country experience. Spacious rooms and tasteful furnishings. Full kitchen, large dining table seats 6, television, DVD player with film library, Wifi access, games and books. Large queen bed room + smaller room with twin beds. Large orchard garden with barbecue and outdoor furniture.

Guest access

Cottage is completely independent. Convenient access to: bicycle riding, horse-back riding, fishing, tennis, golf, antique fairs, street fairs, outdoor concerts, organic farmers' markets, good restaurants, and fine country living! We share a spacious courtyard entry.

Interaction with guests

We live in the adjacent farmhouse during the summer months and are happy to answer any questions our guests may have. Otherwise, we'll communicate by email or telephone.

Other things to note

Our farm is in the tiny hamlet of Le Gue de la Chaine, 3 kilometers from Belleme and 6 kilometers from the regional capital of Mortagne au Perche. Traveling by car, you are 2.5 hours from Paris, 3 hours from the channel coastal resorts and landing beaches and 2 hours from the Loire Valley. There is good train service to all parts of France from the neighboring town of Nogent le Rotrou.

Absolutely no pets, no smoking, no loud music. Not suitable for small children as we have an unfenced stream and pond on the property. We live in a tiny village and respect our neighbors!
