Our home is a peaceful retreat. Enjoy pleasant afternoons on the covered front porch. Look out on the lush garden full of vegetables and fruit trees.

We have one queen bed and two double beds. We have a beautiful kitchen available for our guests. We have plenty of free, on-street parking in front of the house.

Families are welcome. We have kids books and toys, plus a stroller and a foldable crib. A nice elementary school playground is located three blocks away.

NOTES: Our house is not an appropriate space to host a party; please look for a different location if this is your plan. Smoking (of any type) is not allowed anywhere on the property including the porches and yard-- Smokers should consider looking for other rentals.

The house was clean and exactly as seen in the pictures. Allison and David had a bottle of wine waiting for us as well as a nice booklet with restaurant recommendations, etc. Fantastic. The neighbourhood is lovely and we got lots of friendly hellos as we walked around and explored. The area has a quaint sort of romance to it that we all found very charming. One recommendation I would have is for any smokers to err on the side of caution and smoke far away from the property, as the neighbours and owners are very sensitive to cigarette smoke. Remember that the smell clings to your clothes even after you are done.

Allison and David's home is cozy and inviting. They have a lovely, well-appointed kitchen which was terrific to cook in. They left a bunch of board games for us to play which lent itself to some much needed family time. The nice bottle of red wine was an unexpected treat.

Loved the house, it's really nice and cozy and everything was just as described. The location is great too, really close to Alberta street, where there's so much going on. Allison was really responsive and accommodating, an amazing host that I cannot recommend enough!

Allison & David's house was adorable and in a great location. They were very welcoming hosts--they left information on the neighborhood, a Portland guidebook, and chocolate and a nice bottle of wine! They also have a beautiful garden and backyard. We were able to easily walk to Alberta St. and the numerous restaurants & bars. It was a quick Uber trip to downtown.

Wow. What an amazing house in an amazing neighborhood of one of our favorite cities. Very roomy, very comfy house with everything we needed. And we loved exploring the Alberta neighborhood that was just a quick stroll away. (Pine State Biscuits and Salt & Straw and Barista and tons of shops to discover super close by.) Allison and David made everything easy for us. Very clear instructions to get in and get settled. Even though Portland hit 105 degrees while we were there, the house was cool and comfortable. Hope to be back there soon.
