Guest often stay at the Lodge as a base for exploring the natural wonder of the Gila region, including the City of Rocks, the Continental Divide trail, the Gila Cliff Dwellings, and natural hot springs of the region. Passionate about permaculture (that is, sustainable and healthy living), I'm a writer/photographer of books about straw-bale and natural building. I also run a B&B in Kingston, the Black Range Lodge, where we host natural building workshops and a summer "starlight concert" series. I formerly worked in film production in Hollywood, and still love good movies.
