Lovely and comfortable cottage. Surroundings are stunning. Ducks, cockrell and hens walking around the place made it such a homely and relaxed place. Very friendly hosts.

Carla is a wonderful host, and we had a wonderful time. Cottage was clean and warm, and had ample facilities to feel just like home. Best part of the cottage are the natural surroundings.

This was our second year visiting and it was just as fantastic the second time around. The cottage was clean and cozy and really felt like our second home from home. Carla and Adam are both friendly and always happy to help and they even welcomed us with a delicious home baked cake. The cottage surroundings are just idyllic and the fact that they are pet friendly makes it perfect for us. Area is ideal as it's within short driving distance from many beautiful attractions in Wales. We are already planning on coming back next year.

This was a delightful place for our family to have a break. The garden and surroundings are really beautiful. Our kids loved playing with the ducks and chickens and dog, and exploring the property. The grounds are big enough to have total privacy, and we barbecued every night and ate outdoors. It's a very good set up for a young family. Carla and her family were very welcoming and full of information about the district. Thanks!

We had a very enjoyable stay! The accommodation was just lovely and the whole site was very family friendly! Our 2 children loved running about and exploring and feeding all the animals! The accommodation was bigger than it looked in the photos and definitely worth the money! We had a friendly welcome and the tea loaf went down well! We hope to stay again in the future

I just loved everything about Ty Cornel. Peaceful, charming and so relaxing. The fresh white bed linen and flowers from outside on the table make it 'Fab' not flash and thats hard to find. We all wanted to stay longer and we will be visiting again whenever we get the chance. Carla and her family have created a little bit of magic in Powys and you feel just a little spoilt. Lovely family, lovely place to stay.

Staying at Ty Cornel was absolutely fantastic! We arrived late but managed to easily find our little cottage along with a welcome homemade cake! Yum! We were able to park in any bay (difficult to navigate at 11pm) but not an issue. We were provided with tea and coffee and an array of kitchen tools if you wanted to cook up a storm. Beds were comfy, shower was hot and sofas were cosy after trekking in Snowdonia! The land around the cottage has a few animals surprises too including piglets, chickens and a goose! - This was a highlight for us. Really well presented cottage!! Thank you!

My family and I moved from Surrey in January 2014 having decided to try something different. At the moment we have 3 children, 1 dog, 8 chickens and are hoping to get some piglets soon! We're loving our new home in Llanidloes and have met some great people here both locally and through Airbnb.
