A comfortable bedroom with shared bath in a warm home in coastal SC.

The space

This small room is very comfortable with 2 twin beds which can be put together to make 1 large bed, and shared bath.
I share my home with my two year-old black cat named Java and year old gray cat, Lily......also have two small tortoises, Baby and Halo!
Facilitated private retreat can be arranged at additional cost. Massage, integrated bodywork, Reiki session or training can be scheduled at extra charge.

Guest access

The entire house can be shared except for other bedrooms.

Interaction with guests

I am usually present during guest's stay with very moderate interaction.

Other things to note

There are two roads that will get you to my home..........both are unpaved. My road does have large potholes; the parallel road - beautiful Avenue of the Oaks - is smooth but bumpy.
My home has the feel of a private retreating place..............
I am available to facilitate retreat, meditation, energywork, Reiki training.
We are about 1 1/2 mi from neighborhood beach front; 10-min drive from the ocean at beautiful Hunting Island Stare Park.

Don't let the drive in on the bumpy dirt road scare you. At the end of the semi-bumpy dirt road is a very cute home located in the woods just off the highway surrounded by beautiful foliage and other beautiful homes. When we arrived Ifetayo and her daughter Jamella gave us a very warm welcome and offered to share nearly everything in her home with us, including her pass to Hunting Island State park which we definitely recommend checking out. The private room was very nice and clean lived up to our expectations. It was also great to get to know Ifetayo and Jamella. Apparently there is a beach close by within walking distance which we never got to check out but the Hunting Island state park beach is gorgeous and we also recommend climbing the lighthouse and checking out the view of the coast. We went out to eat at Dockside restaurant as recommended by Jamella and it was also gorgeous right on the water and had delicious seafood for a decent price. All in all, we loved our stay at Ifetayo's house and loved our stay in South Carolina and we loved it so much we are thinking about moving to South Carolina someday :)

I spent three days at Ifetayo's home. I felt very welcome there. My room was spacious and comfortable... and quiet! Coming from a big city, I found the natural sounds of the deep live oak forest easy to relax and sink into. I also found the trees in the immediate surroundings and neighborhood to be stunning. This location is perfect for a private retreat, and the warmth of its host adds to the special nature of the experience.

We loved our stay with Ifetayo. We felt right at home in her lovely home and beautiful neighbourhood. Ifetayo shared her state park pass with us so we could spend the day at the beach and in the woods. I highly recommend making your way to this gorgeous area and particularly to Ifetayo's home.

Ifetayo’s place is great. I had a disrupted trip due to a hurricane. Ifetayo was very accommodating to my altered schedule. It is a lovely if slightly isolated location. But it is a home from home.
