THE GROUNDS
By day your private backyard is home to sun, fun, play, laughter, relaxation and memories. With the smell of barbecue in the air, music streaming through the yards & bevvies #poolside, it's your little oasis. Whether it's swimming & exercise, yard games and pool play, or winding down & relaxing by the garden with a good book, (or all of the above!!) it's there for you to be what you need.
By night the grounds light up & are transformed into your own hideaway. Sweet barbecue dinners in the garden, late night swims, long evening chats & laughs by the fire pit (the signature #percyplaceexeperience). Then to cap the night off, a relaxing soak in the hot tub under the patio lanterns. With the forest as your backdrop, music humming through the trees, lights twinkling in the garden, you can't help but relax, reflect & unwind; just what the doctor ordered before retreating to a nightcap of Netflix, your favorite novel, or romantic snuggle by the fireplace.
PS.....of course if you are visiting us in the winter months & can handle the brisk Canadian sprint to the hot tub, you will be rewarded with the calmness of the snow flakes falling all around your steamy bath! #peace

Walking in to your cabinesque retreat, you will be drawn in with high ship-lap ceilings, a wood accent wall, Smart TV and huge picture window overlooking the backyard & your own flower garden. Ultimate rest & relaxation will come easy with your blackout drapes, queen bed with pillow top mattress, an array of pillow styles to choose from, and Egyptian cotton sheets to sooth you to sleep. Complimentary Massage Oil, Robes & Slippers, bedside phone chargers are also provided for your added comfort. With shimmering candles and night garden view, sink in to your own little private hideaway. #escape #relax #romance
YOUR LIVING/DINING SUITE
Through the barn doors you will be transported to an eclectic little hideaway. Furnished with queen roll-out sectional and reading lounger, remote fireplace, 50" Smart TV, and intimate dining for the ultimate lounging experience. There's something original to admire in every corner. Sit back, soak it up & feel yourself taken away to a different place. Climb the live edge stairs to your "barn bar", cozy up with throws & pillows, relax by candlelight and the warmth of the fire. Or soak up the morning sunshine, snuggled up with your coffee & a good book or start your Netflix marathon. Your Living Suite is stocked with games, books & therapeutic coloring for you to enjoy.

Rejuvenate & relax in your private spa with walk in shower. Close the door and transform your space to a steam filled, candlelight retreat with luxurious towel sheets and toiletries.
YOUR KITCHEN/LAUNDRY
Opening up to the backyard garden & dining, enjoy your private laundry & kitchen. Amenities include full laundry facilities, full fridge, microwave, Kuerig coffee maker, kettle, toaster, electric frying pan, crock pot, rice steamer, egg cooker & margarita machine. A separate barbecue station houses everything you need for outdoor grilling & dining.

The entrance to Percy Place is through the side Gate. The path will lead you through the backyard to your private entrance.

Other things to note
The suite bathroom is on a separate plumbing system than the rest of the house. When the water runs for a period of time or the toilet is flushed, you will hear a mild humming noise for 5-10 seconds while the pump regenerates it's water supply. (Don't worry, this won't affect your long steamy showers!) It's also very important to not flush anything but toilet paper down the toilet.

My husband, Alex & I love new adventures & staying in unique, off the beaten path, places. We wanted to make our vacation rental a place of intrigue and inspiration; a place to sneak away from the everyday in to your own little hideaway, with every comfort of home and more. Over the course of 1 year we conceptualized and transformed your Suite into Percy Place. We put our heart & soul, blood, sweat & tears in to our vision of the space and experience we wanted to greet our guests with.....yes, blood...yes, sweat....yes, tears!!! Lol ;) But at the end, it felt so worth it! Our first experience of sharing our home with others was when we opened our arms to our first International Student in 2015. When we made that decision we had no idea how much more rich our lives were about to become. We realized the sense of love and pride and satisfaction that came with welcoming people in to our experience and sharing our story in new ways with new people. Percy Place has now just become an extension of that experience that is so exciting to us! Yes, you do share our house with us. But we will only be seen if & when you want us to be! This is meant to be your #retreat, your #staycation, your chance to #hideaway. In saying that, if you are visiting us for a special occasion, or if there is anything special we can set up for your arrival, please let us know!
