WYNARDS FARM, BED AND BREAKFAST, IS SITUATED ON THE EDGE OF WINFRITH NEWBURGH, PICTURESQUE VILLAGE CLOSE TO LULWORTH COVE, DURDLE DOOR, WORLD HERITAGE COASTLINE. IN AN ELEVATED POSITION WITH UNINTERRUPTED VIEWS OVER THE SCENIC DORSET COUNTRYSIDE

The space

Wynards Farm is in a unique setting up a old drove in a position overlooking fields and church tower and views for miles across the open countryside. Our 4 star graded bedrooms all have own entrance doors, allowing guests access as often and at anytime to their room.
The Sunset room has an external staircase, opening onto a spacious sunny room with ensuite shower room. There is a grass area outside with table and chairs.
The Dawn room is ground floor opening directly onto the garden, ideal for guests with limited mobility. This has an ensuite shower room.
The Sunrise room has a downstairs shower room with new walk-in shower, stairs to galleried bedroom and views across the fields.
All rooms have hospitality tray with 7 ass. teas, biscuits, etc. Mini fridge with fresh milk. Colour TV/DVD, hairdryer, clock/radio, tissues.
The shower rooms have Cole & Lewis toiletries and John Lewis Supima towels.

Guest access

Our Visit Britain Breakfast Award breakfast is served in the dining room at front of house or can be taken on the patio.
The garden is very popular with guests to wander around, with furniture for their use and a Weber gas BBQ (with gas). Parking is in the courtyard close to the bedroom doors.

Interaction with guests

My husband, Ray, and I run Wynards Farm with the help of our daughter, Annabel, therefore, guests are greeted and shown their rooms and offered maps and literature, then taken to the dining room and if they wish around the garden. When we see guests at breakfast we enquire where they are going and offer the "local secrets" of picturesque routes and places.
Most of our guests enjoy the privacy of having their own front doors, but usually my husband and I are around if we are needed.

Other things to note

The rooms have folders listing our breakfast menu, places to eat, posh nosh, lunches and cream teas, suggestions of places to walk, must do's. activities, places to visit and plenty more. There is a basket of leaflets for most attractions in the area.
We also offer coolkeep bags and icepacks and ordnance survey maps for use during your stay.

Stayed for 2 nights with my partner in the Sunrise room, which was absolutely brilliant. We arrived later than expected, however 'check in' was super easy, fast and convenient. Thank you so much Judith and Ray for your lovely hospitality! We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to return for our next mini break away from busy London. Room was beyond our expectations - so comfortable and clean with the all the attention to detail, such as the amazingly delicious home baked flap jacks. Breakfast was excellent with so much choice. Thank you again for being so welcoming and friendly, making us feel truly looked after!

A great place for exploring the Dorset coast. The hospitality provided is genuine and warm with very comfortable and clean rooms. And a sumptuous breakfast. Excellent recommendations for dinner at a local pub and a booking were much appreciated.

Judith was the perfect host and her cooked breakfast was delicious. The accommodation was ideal, it was spotlessly clean and had everything you need. The location is great for getting out and about walking and near to the iconic Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. We would definitely stay there again and would thoroughly recommend it to family and friends. C

My husband, Ray, and I have lived at Wynards Farm for 29 years, having moved 2 1/2 miles east from the village of Owermoigne.
I never tire of the wonderful situation I live in and feel very fortunate to enjoy my home so much. I occasionally ride, weather permitting, but gardening takes up a lot of time and energy. Ray is a keen sailor, having crossed the Atlantic and then Pacific to New Zealand in a Malo 38. This has since been sold and he now belongs to the "Old Gaffers Association" as he owns a Cornish Crabber.
The photo was taken in New Zealand at Sharon's house, our eldest daughter, but fortunately we still have Annabel living approx. 15 mins. drive away.
I am a great lover of lunches and teas and visiting gardens with friends. Ray is more of a pub man, especially the Sailors Return on a Friday evening which is full of locals, farmers and businessmen, and a few wives.
