My two sons and I were comfortable in Kirsten' apartment. The setting on the river is so lovely, the area quiet and peaceful. I can recommend this Airbnb highly.

We stayed here as a home base for fishing in Lacrosse. It was as described - clean and well-kept. The location is quite nice, as it's on a quiet street and right on the river, with plenty of outside seating to enjoy the view. For our purposes, having the boat ramp only 2 minutes away was a big plus. Booking and check-in was easy. As far as communication, Kirsten responded quickly to any questions that I had for her, and Pat stopped by in-person to say hello also. If you like rivers and/or the outdoors, the Upper Mississippi is full of both wildlife and recreation. I'd definitely recommend checking out Kirsten and Pat's place to enjoy the area.

This was our Mother and Daughter get away. The house was so lovely and cozy. Our favorite spot to be was sitting on dock and watching the river go by. We saw plenty of birds, ducks and fish jumping all around. It was wonderful and peaceful.

This house is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever had! Love the house, the view, the canoeing and the amenities like the grill, the hammock and the peaceful life we get to enjoy when we stay here. This is our third visit and its becoming an annual tradition for our family!

Kirsten and Pat were great hosts. There if we needed them but left us to our stay peacefully. The back yard was beautiful with a nice look over the Mississippi River and an island. We saw deer, otters, purple martins and more. Fished a little as well. The home was super comfortable with all the perfect touches of home. Kirsten and Pat thought of everything! We had anything we could have possibly needed to make our visit perfect. Also this place is in a very quiet area of LaCrosse but also very close to restaurants, night life and shopping! Our family recommends this place and all of us would love to return in the future!

My husband Pat and I along with my parents, built this house in 1992. The land had belonged to my father since the 1960's. So we were very fortunate to have an opportunity to live here on the Mississippi River.

I love to read, get together with family and friends, and travel. Biking is great and I belong to a bike club (social, not competitive). My husband and I go boating several times a week when the water is open. I am kind of a coffee snob (but only because I love it). Popcorn is a must have food and I need to make it the old fashioned way. I love all kinds of music and still enjoy concerts and learning about the music that our three grown children like.

My sister taught me to love travel. Through Airbnb, we made friends with some folks from Australia and I finally got my husband to travel with me to Australia on a three-week adventure! Now he's got the travel bug too!

We live in the upper two floors of the house, so it is easy for us to be around to help out with any questions or needs while you stay. But, you also have your own private apartment on the first level which gives you access to all the amenities and a place to relax on your own.

I think of my life here as filled with simple pleasures!
