Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
This seasonal treehouse (May-15 -Sept 30) located near the mighty Quesnel river, Shaky Knees Tree House sits 7 metres high among Western red cedar and Douglas fir trees. The spacious wrap around deck looks out on a mixed evergreen and deciduous forest with a daisy meadow at its feet. A relaxing gurgle can be heard as Youngren creek ambles down the hill beside the tree house. This very private area includes a pond with a small waterfall. Shaky Knees is an eco-friendly, unplugged experience.

The space
Shaky Knees is easily accessible with its own private driveway and well-lit, level entrance. The tree house has a large, yoga friendly, wrap around deck with chairs and hammock for relaxing. An open kitchen and sitting area are on the main floor with a queen sized bed in the loft above. A full bathroom with on-demand hot water and composting toilet is also on the main floor.

The kitchen has everything you need to turn your day's catch into a delicious meal. A hot air popper and popcorn are always on hand.
There are some basic spices, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and condiments.....and a few extras in case you forgot something!!!

Gold pans and shovels are yours to use as you explore the historic Gold Rush area.

Other things to note
*** There is no cellular service in Likely and no wifi in the tree house. There is a landline and wifi at the main house if needed. We suggest doing anything requiring service before you turn onto Likely Rd.***

If this is your first time staying with us, we would like to greet you when you arrive and introduce you to Shaky Knees. Please provide an ETA and we'll be here waiting for you.

While we adore kids and pets, the tree house best suited for adults (16 years and older) without pets.
