This is a newly decorated, beautiful home located on a luxury townhouse community in a great location, close to Sanibel Island and Fort Myers beach. With 2 good size bedrooms and all the amenities of a home, it is ideal for families, groups of friends, couples and even furry friends. There is also a community pool for guest use.
The space
Your vacation home has a living room with dining area and outdoor patio downstairs, along with a half bath. Both the bedrooms, along with the washer and dryer, are located on the second level.
Beaches, restaurants and shopping locations are located within a short distance and you’re close to Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel Island. The historic river district of Fort Myers is about a 30 minute drive away. Southwest Florida International Airport is also a 30 minute drive.
ACCOMMODATION AND AMENITIES
TVs
The TV comes with news channels and with a large amount of additional programming, some can be added in the Roku app store. Some premium programming require your credentials from your own home TV account provider. It is helpful if you bring that information with you if you want to unlock certain sports or other channels like HBO, Showtime etc. The TV is a smart TV that has Netflix and Hulu capabilities if you have an account with them. There is also a TV in the master bedroom with Roku capabilities
FREE WiFi
If you like to be online with your own devices, such as your laptop, iPad or Smartphone there is free and unlimited Wi-Fi internet.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully equipped with all kitchenware, stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, toaster & coffeemaker. Coffee, filters, creamers and sugar are also provided. This home has a dining area where you can enjoy your home-made meals.
BEDDING & TOWELS
The master bedroom has a king-size bed and the second bedroom has a queen-size bed. Both rooms have spacious closets for your luggage and clothing. There are 2 single fold out beds stored in the walk-in closet in the master bedroom. These can be used for additional guests or children. All linens are supplied.
Beach towels are provided and can be found in the laundry room. Please ensure all of these are returned at the end of your stay, as there is a fee for lost towels.
BATH
The guest bath has a tub/shower combination and the master bath has a walk-in shower only. Both have a toilet and a regular vanity. Your home includes a hair dryer, bath towels, beach towels and a small start-supply of toilet paper and hand soap. There is also a set of basic shampoo, conditioner and body wash. If you want your own or have a preference there is a Super Target and Publix 5 minutes away.
AIR-CONDITIONING
The house has central air conditioning with a digital controller located on the upstairs landing, which you can set to your comfort (we ask that you return it to 78 degrees when you vacate the property). Even though it is rarely needed in SW-Florida, the rental has also a central heating system.
LAUNDRY AND CLEANING
There is a washer and dryer located on the 2nd floor in the closet in between the bedrooms. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are provided. An iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner are also provided.
HOUSE RULES
Earliest check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and latest check-out time, 10:00 a.m. It is no problem to check-in late at night because we will supply you with the electronic lock code for the entry door. Depending on if there is someone there the night before you may be able to check in early as well. Just check first to see if an early check in is available There is a driveway in front of the unit, along with a single car garage so parking is no problem. This unit is one of two units in the complex. The rest of the tenants there are annual tenants and consider their place their home. Please respect their privacy and right to quiet enjoyment. No parties and no loud noises after 9:00 p.m.
PETS
We love pets and pet owners. We have made our unit pet friendly (although we are sorry - no cats), but the community does restrict dogs to those under 40lbs. Please contact us first if you are planning on bringing your pooch. If you do decide to bring your furry family member, we would appreciate it if you could keep them off the furniture and beds and please keep then on a leash AT ALL TIMES. This is a county ordinance as well as a community rule. Also, please pick up after your pets (there is a pet waste station). There is a pet fee of $100, which is charged after bookings are confirmed.
POOL
The community has its own private pool, which you are welcome to use. This is open from dawn to dusk, but we ask that you respect your neighbours when it comes to noise levels. There is a key to the pool cabana hanging on the hook by the front door. Please ensure this is returned before you check-out, as there is a charge for lost keys. No pets are allowed in the pool area.
Guest access
Guests have access to entire home and single car garage.
Other things to note
The community is located on McGregor Blvd, which is a reasonably busy road (particularly at peak hours) and therefore you will be able to hear the traffic noise. We manage 2 properties in this community and in 3 years of many, many bookings, we have only had comments from a couple of guests on the traffic noise. However, we want your experience to be exactly, or better than you expect, so we want you to be aware :-)
