Hi Mike thank you for your feedback ,such a shame that you didn't manage to contact us during your stay for the extra towels. Re personal toiletries, you are quite right we don't supply shampoo ,conditioner or personal hygeine items. We do try to make this clear for guests in our listing as everyones' preference is quite different We always make sure that there is plenty of soap/handwash,toilet paper and airfreshner.

It was most disappointing to read Richard's inaccurate review. We will address each issue individually. 1. Car space. There are 2 car spaces at the rear of the apartment which can be seen quite clearly in listing photos. We have managed quite easily to park 2 4WD vehicles there without any issue. It should be quite easy to work out if you are capable of navigating a street with a slope If anyone has any difficulty negotiating this arrangement there are also 2 Off street car spaces at the front of the house. Dishwasher. Incredibly the dishwasher had just been flushed and repaired. It was clean ,tried and tested before Richard and his family arrived. We had no idea that it stopped functioning during his visit. He did not contact us to let us know that there was a problem. Fridge and Pantry food stuffs. These items are checked in between each visit. Any left over out of date perishable items are always binned by cleaners. Any non perishable items such as coffee,flour,pasta,sugar,tea,sauces,pepper,salt etc are left for the convenience of incoming guests. However there is NEVER any obligation to use anything that is found in the apartment. It is simply there as a courtesy and quite unnecessary to be offended or see it as a source of complaint. We have stayed in lots of Airbnb apartments around the world and find it is very helpful when there are staples left for our use. Noise and Conversations: The apartment is one of 2 in a conjoined house. Quite likely that you can hear conversations if you listen carefully. Accessing storage room via front porch: We came to introduce ourselves to Richard to make sure that everything was working well during the stay. The door remained unanswered. We received no calls from Richard during the 8 days that he was in residence. We could only assume from this that everything was in order and that our guests were happy with their location and the apartment set up. We live close by and we are always happy to respond very quickly to any issue that needs sorting.
We enjoy living in Launceston as it is a beautiful city with lots of features and culture to be part of but it is still very easy to get everywhere. We have 4 cats, love to garden , travel and renovate houses.
