Rose Cottage at Castle-Ely-Mill spans the ground floor of an old stone barn.

Wheelchair accessible, with extra wide interior doors & ramp access to the side of the property.

The spacious open plan living area has direct access to a private patio overlooking the lake & grounds. A double sofa bed provides additional sleeping space.

The bedroom can be configured as a super-king/twin, plus a guest bed or cot.

The bathroom is spacious & a toilet frame & shower chair can be provided.

The space
Rose Cottage is one of 3 self-catering units on site at castle-ely-mill. The other units are Mill Cottage (sleeps 2) and May Cottage (sleeps 6).

Fishing - You are welcome to fish in the lake if you have the appropriate license, however we cannot guarantee what fish are in the lake!

Games Room - A communal games room / social area has been added for your enjoyment. This is located adjacent to the lake and provides an indoor games area with a pool table, dart board, mini table football and several boxed games available, plus a stereo/radio. There is also an honesty bar with a variety of drinks available. The outdoor deck area provides fantastic views across the lake and is an excellent place to while away a few hours in the sun!

Laundry Room - A laundry room is located next to Rose Cottage which contains a coin operated washer and dryer.

We live on site so will be here to welcome you upon arrival. In exceptional circumstances when we are not available, we will be in touch to notify of how to gain access.

Other things to note
Please note that whilst the cottage is wheel-chair accessible the bathroom has a shower enclosure so a degree of mobility it necessary.

Access to the games room is via steps.

We can provide additional aids for the bathroom, including a shower chair and toilet frame

Castle Ely Mill is located between Red Roses and Llanteg just of the A477, an ideal location for those looking for a peaceful retreat whilst also being a great location for walkers looking to access Pembrokeshire’s beautiful coastal and inland walks which surround the award-winning coastline. There are also many cycling routes for both novice and expert cyclists.

It's a superb location for families, with so many blue flag beaches within easy access – our closest beaches are Amroth and Wisemans Bridge, both just a few minutes away and Tenby is a mere 15 minutes drive. There are also many adventure/activity parks and open farms in the area, all within a short drive.

We moved to Pembrokeshire in May 2012 after living and working in the London area for almost 20 years. We decided that it was time for a change of lifestyle so we took a leap of faith, moving from the city to the countryside – and what a great move it has been! We live on site in the converted watermill with our 2 dogs.
