A private bijou Annexe with comfortable double bed, ensuite shower, wash basin, toilet, heated towel rail, mini fridge. Light breakfast available. Tea and coffee making facilities. Some DVDs with monitor. Parking on site. Walking distance to attractive, historic Shaftesbury with good eating places, beautiful countryside and within easy distance of many coastal and rural attractions, including the adjacent Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and an International Dark Sky Reserve.

The space
Entrance via a sanitised key lock on arrival if hosts, John or Amanda, are not available.
Local information is available in the Annexe - including several options of beautiful walks into town. Up to two bicycles may be safely stored overnight if required. Please do not smoke in the Annexe.

Guest access
The ensuite room is for the sole use of guests.

Other things to note
We do have a very friendly dog but if advised in advance that a guest does not want Daisy's welcome (seeking a single pat is sufficient) we will ensure Daisy is not available on your arrival.
There is plenty of parking space, we simply ask that you park so that you and the hosts have access at all times.
When exiting the car park it is worth using the deliberate gap in the fence to look far down the road to the right to assist your departure.
We follow Airbnb’s cleaning protocol.

John, a former NHS worker, now semi-retired, and Amanda, an artist, are affable and welcoming hosts. We enjoy walking our dog, reading, love cooking and visiting Dorset and the local area since we moved here in 2016. We are involved in youth work through a local church and have strong connections with Ethiopia, with John having worked and lived there for a few years.
