Sleeps 2-4
The Annex is an attractive self-contained converted garage, with sea views, at the rear of a Victorian terraced property between picturesque Port Isaac and Port Gaverne beach. Ideal for small family or couple - although not for suitable for toddlers or for the less able as the steps to annex are steep. The annex has its own private parking spot, which is a great bonus in Port Isaac where parking is difficult.

The space
Reached by a flight of stairs leading to a wooden deck with glorious sea views across Port Gaverne Bay and out to Tintagel Head, the annex is a comfortable, well appointed flat. It sleeps 4 with
one double bedroom and 2nd room with bunk beds (not suitable for tall adults) and a small but stylish bathroom.
The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, and microwave. The living area includes a TV, and the deck is provided with a small outdoor table and chairs for enjoying the evening sun. Please do note there is no Wifi at the annex. There are a few places in the village that have free wifi.

Guest access
One parking spot behind the annex for guest use only.

Other things to note
Not suitable for toddlers (steep stairs to deck)
nor for people with movement impairments as the stairs as steep.
Own guest parking for one car at the back of the annex - very useful in peak season when parking in Port Isaac is hard.
There is NO WIFI at the Annex

Neighbourhood highlights

Port Isaac is world famous as the location for the TV series Doc Martin and home to the folk band Fishermen's Friends. It is a charming fishing village
of winding cobbled streets with a wide assortment of shops, quaint pubs and restaurants, many specialising in local seafood.

Nearby Port Gaverne is a tiny hamlet on a glorious family-friendly sandy beach, ideal for rock-pooling and crabbing. It is also a base for coasteering and canoeing. Refreshments are available at the popular Port Gaverne pub overlooking the beach, and at the cafe on the beach, Pilchards (high season only).
The South West coastal path is just minutes away,
making the Annex the perfect base for walkers. Indeed, the recent bestselling book The Salt Path takes readers on this iconic walk, and the film based on it features scenes of the surrounding area. Polzeath beach - famous for fabulous surfing - is a short drive away. Also close are Rock
for sailors & Padstow, home to Rick Stein. For food lovers Port Isaac is the home to two Nathan Outlaw restaurants - his Michelin starred restaurant and his smaller bistro. Both are delicious - if rather expensive!

The Annex is owned by myself and my sister Fiona. I am a photographers agent and she is a language teacher. We have owned the house in Cornwall for the last 4 years. The Annex is at the back of a victorian terrace house overlooking the sea. We love Port Isaac for its amazing views, friendly community. surfing in Polzeath and walks along the coastal path. We are both married and have 5 children between us. We all love spending time in Cornwall.
