This place is situated in far east district Champawat in Uttrakhand, bordering Nepal, in the midst of dense forest of Cedar, Rhododendron, Plums, Pear, Peach, Bay Berries etc.

The space
It is a double story house built in a 700 sq metre space out of which only 200 sq metres have been used for the building. Rest is occupied by kitchen garden and some sorts of sitting spaces here and there. As this house is situated in a remote village surrounded by evergreen forests of oak, rhododendron and pine it attracts you to many trails leading to some forests in India and Nepal.

Guest access
All spaces are accessible to the guests including Sacred Groves of Cedar(Deodar) situated in front of the house at a two minutes walk.

Other things to note
Good quality liquor is not available in local shops therefore i advise my guests to carry their own stuff if they love their drink

I am a nomad , dreamer and a nature lover., love plants, flowers, trees, grasses, shrubs, bushes ,beetles, birds, brooks, rivers, ponds, lakes ,mountains embroidered with silky and luminous moss and spiders and all the organisms living with them.I enjoy the verdant hues of cool green forest so much that sometimes I become a part of their opera when the trees and their other family members dance to the unending beats of eternity and release so many intoxicating fragrances. I try my best to protect them in their pristinity as they as I believe that the native varieties of all such beautiful life especially the native trees and seeds needs to be preserved and protected from the intruding predator technologies being dumped on us by big hounds like Monsanto and Cargill. I like my visitors to enjoy the serene and salubrious forest life and engage with the local community in learning the natural and traditional way of Permaculture and learn about herbs, food, sublimity ,immense happiness and the sustainability that the living with forest offers . It is the perpetual dance of Nature that keeps the fire of life alive in forms of many festivals and folk songs. All the time i am savouring new flavors, new melodies of forest whispering their songs to me every moment. Come and be a part of this opera, the mountain opera. Due to surge in covid 19 cases it has been decided to close the Homestay till March 2021.

During your stay
I love to interact with my guests and sometimes accompany them to some really exotic and beautiful places not much known to public. I always try to arrange their transport or accommodation in Uttarakhand or Nepal at the most reasonable rates. Not far from us in western Nepal we have home stay arrangements and stay in beautiful resorts in Bardia Tiger Sanctuary which is situated at 5 hours drive from us. Besides tigers it is famous for elephants, leopards , rhinoceros and wild buffaloes.
