Where you’ll be

Sculthorpe, England, United Kingdom

Sculthorpe is a rural scattering of houses, cottages and modern properties virtually on the outskirts of Fakenham and surrounded by attractive countryside. In close proximity is Sculthorpe Moor nature reserve (run by Hawk and Owl Trust), with walkways open to the public. The village has 2 pubs, the Hourglass (2 min walk) and Sculthorpe Mill (in a picturesque setting), an impressive church and children playground. The fresh supply of organic eggs and honey for your breakfast is available from our next door neighbour, logs also can be purchased locally in the village, they are sold just round the corner on the way to the Hourglass pub, the little house like a dovehut is hard to miss.
The nearby town of Fakenham has a weekly market on Thursday selling everything from antiques to fruit and vegetables, a sport centre, supermarkets, doctor's surgery, several dentists and vets. Also there's a Farmers market every last Saturday of the month including exquisite Craft Makers market at the Fakenham parish church.

Hi, I'm Ksenia and peculiar enough my name actually means "hospitality and friendship towards guests" in ancient Greek. I'm Russian, born in Latvia by the Baltic Sea and live for over 20 years now in Norfolk by the North Sea. I adore children and dogs and have 3 of each. I tried various jobs in my life from being an airhostess to a coordinator of chidren literacy project. Currently I teach Russian privately and on (Hidden by Airbnb) and look after my cottage number 7, which is needless to say is labour of love.
