Nestled at the back of our garage is our cute, cosy and private studio room with its own separate bathroom. A new deck and covered outdoor area provide guests with privacy. We provide a small selection of breakfast options for short stays of up to 3 nights and a small kitchenette area is available for basic meal preparation.
Located in central Hamilton we are close to the central city, Claudelands GloBox Event Centre, FMG Rugby Park, local shops, a large park and the bus stops at our gate.

The space
Guests can choose privacy out in the room and are very welcome to join us in the house if they wish. Freeview TV with chrome cast and Wifi are available in the room.
The small kitchenette area has a fridge, toaster, jug and Nespresso machine, an induction hotplate and a microwave for basic cooking - we also have an air fryer available use on request. Tea, coffee and a light continental style breakfast are provided for guests for up to 3-night stays.

Guest access
We have recently upgraded the outdoor area and accessway to allow independent access via a private solar lit walkway along the side and back of our garage. Guests will have privacy in the room which has a sliding door with a small screened deck and outdoor seating for enjoying the warmer weather.

During your stay
You may see us or our visitors coming and going and we both love to have a chat but we will be sure to respect your privacy.

Other things to note
We do have a shy but nosy cat who may come to say hi, just shoo her out if she is not welcome .
The bathroom has a shower and toilet with a small handbasin - there is a big sink next to the washing machine in the garage next to the room if needed for filling the jug, water bottles or washing up etc. Feel free to use the washing machine, washing liquid is in the drawer below the sink.

The road can get busy at peak traffic times but the room is right at the back of the section so its very quiet. There is a selection of shops a minutes walk from the house including a small supermarket, pharmacy, liquor shop, bakeries, butcher and a great fruit and vegetable shop.

I’m happy to spend time with my guests or give them space
I am a neonatal nurse currently and I am married to Jim who is also a nurse and between us we have five awesome adult children and five gorgeous grandchildren. We love the beach, travelling, music, movies and spending time with our family and friends. Your home is in good hands if I am staying with you - I am really conscientious about keeping my own home clean and tidy (my husband would likely say a little OCD) so yours will be too.
