The space
••Please read the whole description so you’re not surprised when you show up. We aim for great reviews and when there is a complaint, it is usually already noted.

If you're looking for a place to sleep in northern Michigan, we have the place for you. I am located in between Platte Lake and Crystal Lake. It is a 2003 Dutchman hardside camper. The second bedroom also has bunkbeds for the kids or adults who think they are kids still. The main bedroom has a double wide bed. I have a horse shoe pit for fun around the house along with a campfire pit that you are more then welcomed to use. There is also a fish cleaning station for your fishing needs.

We are 4 hours away from the Detroit Metro area and a couple hours away from Grand Rapids. Beulah has a lot to do from boating, fishing, swimming, biking, 4-wheeling, sight seeing, etc. If you have a ski boat, bring it and you can take it to Platte Lake a mile from the house or Crystal Lake minutes away. We are also not far away from Platte River or the Betsie river for Trout and Salmon fishing, kayaking or canoeing. If you're lucky, you might also get to see the deer that live in the backyard. There is also a lot of other wildlife that visit the house. We are minutes away from the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. We also have a play structure for the children and a fire pit for those summer nights.

The camper is only 15 minutes away from Downtown Frankfort, 10 mintues from Beulah, 30 minutes from Glen Arbor, 50 minutes from the world famous Fishtown and 40 minutes away from Traverse City.

Other noteworthy places to visit or use within 45 minutes is Crystal Mountain and Manistee.

The camper is available depending on the weather for the month of April. It will be back online during August for Salmon fisherman and hunters. I will keep it open through the fall until it becomes to cold.

If you need a fishing guide, we can help you with that. Look up Chrome Seekers Sportfishing. Book your vacation with us and receive 10% off any of our 3 person river trips or 4 person Great Lake trips.

Please note that we do not provide linen to keep the cleaning fee cost of this camper down. You are responsible for pillows and sleeping bags. You are responsible for cleaning the camper up so we do not need to bring in a cleaning lady.

The camper is also in a woody area. Bugs do live here and will die in the camper from time to time. Although I try my best to keep it clean before your needs you may find a dead bug in the camper. Although I try to keep it clean, This is not luxuries. If you are looking for something like that, my camper is not for you and I urge you to look for something that fits your needs better.

I also live on the half acre the camper is on. I am an early riser due to charter fishing so please keep that in mind if you plan on partying.

Thank you for considering my camper for your vacation needs. If I can answer any questions, feel free to ask.

Guest access
You will have access to the whole camper, the horse shoe pit and campfire ring.

Other things to note
Some days I am leaving at 5 AM. Keeping the loud noise to a minimum is a must.

Please note that this camper is in a woody area with bugs. If you don’t like bugs then my camper is not for you.

This camper can be moved to another campground by you for an additional cost. You will need insurance for this. If you want me to move it, there will be additional charges as well.

I require a Terms and Conditions to be signed before arrival. I also request a $500 refundable security deposit for any damage or broken items in the camper after your departure. Also, there is a $50 cleaning fee that will be pulled out of your deposit if the camper is not left like you found it. This gives you the oportunity to save some money rather then me having to bring in a cleaning lady.

I will also take %10 off any guided trip you book with me.
