Near local malls/metro and corporate offices in Tysons Corner. This large private studio has a private bathroom, TV, and FIOS high speed internet. Common space used for dining, exercise, laundry, and relaxation.
The space includes over 2,000 square feet of comfort and the property is a mere 3 minute drive from Tysons Corner, which is home to many established businesses and two exquisite malls. Additionally, the new silver line metro rail is about a 15 - 20 minute walk and provides access to numerous other locations around Washington DC. The bedroom is large with an excellent view of the forest behind the property and is accessible through a private keyed entrance. Please see the photos for more information. We prefer to host working professionals and students with internships or looking for opportunities in the greater DC area. This studio is also available on a long term basis at a lower rate through corporat(URL HIDDEN) (property 4927).
We aim to please. If you stay with us, please let us know about any concerns and we will find a way to resolve them.
Access is through rear of the property, down a stone walkway off of the driveway where we provide off-street parking. The guest will receive keys to the sliding door entrance and to the private room upon signing a limited liability agreement (identification required), provided by the host. The limited liability agreement simply limits the liability of the host in event of any damages to the guest or their property.
Other things to note
Unfortunately, we can not accept more than 2 at a time. We definitely prefer individuals in town for work or looking for a place to live for extended periods of time. If you're planning on a longer term stay, we can discuss a lower rate.
NO smoking, NO pets.
Since it is a house with 1 or 2 other people around at times, please be considerate of others especially as to noise levels when people need to sleep. Other people living at the house are out mostly and use the living space primarily for sleep. So, you will have a very private stay. Please keep living space clean especially in common areas. Also, please turn off appliances and lights when not using them.
We are extremely busy people so interaction is normally minimal. Since the studio is completely exclusive, the guest can live in complete privacy. We encourage interns to pair up with other interns in the DC area... you can't shoot pool or play foosball by yourself.
I am a professional consultant and live separately in this house. The space being rented is separated from the rest of the living space in the house. So, you will have complete privacy and we will not interact except to arrange the stay and to provide access to the space. We do keep house pretty quiet and do not have loud noises or other distractions. So, we expect the same from those who take the space. And, the neighborhood is very safe so there will be few concerns on your part as to safety or any issues which could impact your stay. You will feel completely private in the space and not be annoyed with excessive noises during your stay. And, no interaction with others is necessary, if desired.
Some previous guests have left us positive reviews from another site and we wanted to share them to our AirBnB viewers:
Jeff - (stayed with us for 1 year) - "Gary is a good landlord. He is friendly, fixes issues with the property when they arise, and is a fair negotiator for leases and extensions. "
Greg - "I stayed with Gary for 3 months and had a nice stay. He is a very nice host and the room is very large. His house is convenient to several major transportation routes and easy access if you're working in Tysons. "
Unfortunately one of our listings does have a negative review from one prior guest: Daniel.
Daniel was not up front about his living arrangements and did not keep his living area clean. There would not have been any problems if Daniel had been clear about his arrangements up front and kept clean. We encourage all of our guests to honestly communicate their arrangements.
