About this listing
Charming house in a historic landmark section of Hudson with great light. Centrally located 3 short blocks to the city's Warren St. Private yard with barbeque.
Hudson is located approximately 120 miles north of New York City in the foothills of the Catskill and Berkshire mountains.
In the 1980's, a number of NYC antique dealers started relocating to Hudson creating a Renaissance of sorts. Now there is a wide mix of antique shops, art galleries, clothing shops, very unique jewelry stores and boutiques along with coffee shops and great music and theater venues. There are also many great restaurants. All of this in the 2.2 mile city called Hudson.
The surrounding Hudson Valley and Berkshires offer many nature settings for outdoor activities; historic sites to tour, indoor and open air cultural experiences and local farms to visit and enjoy.
Chronogram, Rural Intelligence, Rogovoy Report, Art in Hudson, I Love Hudson, IMBY and The Gossips of Rivertown are great online resources for the area.

I discovered Hudson 17 years ago while visiting a dear friend. Next thing I knew, I was coming up on weekends, then leaving Monday mornings to return to NYC, then coming on Thursday nights.
It is a great destination, peaceful, playful, cultural and fun.
