Located at a quiet residential area right at the French Quarter of Hanoi, the Hanorama Apartment is easily accessible by local transportation & taxi and just a few minutes away from some of the most iconic spots in Hanoi.

With French architecture being the main influence behind the design of the apartment just as it was on Vietnamese culture, the apartment with a lovely balcony view of the street will let you immerse yourself into real life of a citizen without having to leave the apartment.

The space
Located on one of the most peaceful streets in Hanoi, Hanorama Apartment is one of a few units out there that can surely give you a sense of relaxation.

The Hanorama Apartment sits on the 4th floor of a truly authentic and original building in colonial style dating back to the mid-21th century. The stairs are bright and wide filled with natural light so climbing up to the 4th floor might not be a bad experience as it first sounds. You will also be surrounded by our friendly and kind local neighborhood so you do get to experience what it is truly like to be living amongst local Hanoians.

And you can rest assured that you have all the required equipments that you may need: 2 king-sized beds with comfy mattress, hygienic bathroom, a sofa in front of the panoramic window, electronic devices like fast Wifi connection, AC or heating (Winter is coming), mini-fridge, microwave... Just to cap it off, there is a spacious, full of natural light yet private balcony ("this guy must be obsessed about his balcony") where you can sit around and enjoy a cup of tea with your friends or your family members.

Additionally, you can walk to almost every famous place in Hanoi such as Hanoi Opera House, the legendary Metropole hotel, Hoan Kiem lake, Dong Xuan Market or Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mural just to name a few. There is a convenience store that opens 24/24 just 5 mins walk from which you can get anything you need to make sure you are mentally and physically ready to explore the city. Or if you are a fan of local food then make sure you check out those restaurants and coffee shops just a couple of minutes walking from the place. There is a range of shops that sell traditional dishes in Vietnam on Tong Dan St. (right next to the area). There is a local Pho restaurant right across the street that has surprisingly attracted lots of my previous guests despite not being fancy as other restaurants. Having been suggested by many of my previous guests, there is a coffee shop called "Cosa Nostra" which you should really check out, again just a couple of minutes away.

Here's one of our recent reviews which summarised pretty much the experience that we wanted to deliver to our guests:
"Our home stay at the apartment was perfect! We were surrounded by plenty of great food places and places to see, the home was great for 2 couples. Ha & Vu were extremely helpful, there was a lost baggage issue at the airport and they sorted it out for us within minutes! Great communication from them keeping things comfortable and simple! Thankyou Ha & Vu!" - Charlotte, UK

Guest access
As soon as you have checked in, the whole place along with all the facilities (mentioned below) are all at your disposal. We will not come into the apartment without your permission unless it is an urgent situation. We always try to welcome our guests in person but in case we are unable to or our guests arrive late, you won't have to worry as this is a self check-in/out flat. A link to a detailed instruction will be sent to you before your arrival. We also provide you with lots of tips like places to visit along with foods and drinks to try in Hanoi just to give you a bit of extra help in making yourself familiar with the city.

Here's what you will be equipped with when staying at the apartment:
- 2 king-sized beds with comfy mattress
- A lovely 2-seat Sofa
- Fast Wifi
- Fully equipped kitchen
- Complimentary snacks and drinks
- Cotton towels
- Bathroom with a walk in shower
- Shampoo and shower gels provided
- Toilet (separate from the bathroom)
- Hairdryer
- Air-condition + Fans
- A balcony with a lovely view of Le Phung Hieu St - one of the oldest streets in Hanoi

Other things to note
As previously mentioned, the apartment is on the 4th floor of the building. Since the building has been there for quite some time, I am afraid that there is no elevators (lifts) in the building. The stairs are fairly flat and bright though so I am sure climbing stairs will not be terrible as it might sound to you. But in case you have lots of luggage then please let me know so I can come and help you with the luggage. There is a parking space on the outside of the building where you can leave your motorbike or bicycle but for the peace of your mind especially when you leave your bike unattended for a long time, it would be best if you could park your bike at the parking lot just a few steps away.

Having been asked by many of our previous guests, we can help you arrange airport pickup/dropoff; we use new, clean cars with experience drivers to make sure of your safety. The driver knows the place already so you won't need to find the place yourself. But if you like to just to get a snapshot of what you're about to experience in Hanoi then taking the bus won't be such a bad idea.

The neighborhood is extremely nice and kind as far as my past experience is concerned. They always make people who are new to the area feel welcome. One of the neighbors is actually pianist which lots of my guests found interesting. In case there is anything that you are not sure of, they would be willing to lend you a hand.

Hi guys, my name is Vu. I'm from Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. I spent over 6 years in the UK pursuing my education in tourism and hospitality and then later back to Vietnam after completing my study there. The 4 things that matter the most in my life is Family, Football, Music and Travel. Me and my missus have been travelling to various places of the world over the past 5 years, trying to learn how people coming from different cultures and backgrounds lead their lives and have been very fortunate to share some of the best memories in my life with hosts from different parts of the world. Being an Airbnb host has definitely allowed me to take full advantage of all those experience, to be able to help other fellow travelers avoid all the issues that they're likely to encounter when arriving in a new country. But to us the most pleasing fact about being an Airbnb host is that we have the chance to help people from other countries or parts of Vietnam see Hanoi the way that we see it. Like you all know, the Covid-19 has hit all of us hard, both travellers and us as hosts. But hopefully we will be able to be part of your experience in Hanoi again once the pandemic is over! "Life is either great adventure or nothing" 인생은 위대한 모험이거나 아무것도 아니다. "La vida es una gran aventura o nada". All the best, Vu & Ha

We use self check-in system so that guests can feel like the place is of their own. Self check in instruction will be sent to you once you have reserved the apartment. Although it is self-check in, I always try to welcome guests in person, especially when you arrive at the apartment late.

And as you know, the location being in the center of Hanoi, the excitement alone will keep you busy and active, however if you need any assistance of routes or any suggestions etc., I'm always there to help 24/7.
