Despite my arriving an hour late, (11:00 PM) David greeted me with great warmth and a glass of red wine. We had a very long chat and discovered lots in common. He was ready to go out for food and show me a great burger place but I was too exhausted. Over the four days I stayed, I felt he would have shown me so much more of the city had I not been so busy.My room was just like the picture with some snacks provided gratis. David also offered me the use of his kitchen and a second fridge. The neighbourhood was clean, safe and within walking distance of the venue. The bedroom was located such that I could quietly arrive late at night and leave early in the morning without disturbing anyone. I had a great time.

The house was awesome, my room was very accommodating and comfortable, and loved that there were snacks in my room when I got there. The location could not have been better, a nice walk to Bethel. David went out of his way giving me a ride to and from the airport, took me shopping, sight seeing to the lakes, and cooked me the best burger I have eaten in my life. Had amazing late night talks with David...learned so much, great advise giver and listener. I would totally recommend David as host and his home for anyone traveling to Redding. He is as wise as he is kind...and funny. I definitely want to go back and David definitely made it one of the greatest experiences in my life.

David was a great host! The day I arrived he gave me a great tour of Redding and was very informative on places to eat/shop/etc. He also had a lot of great input in helping me find things to do whether it be outdoors things or Bethel events. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend his place to anyone wanting a great Redding/Bethel experience!

My stay was wonderful. David, was more than a host, he became a friend. He was generous with his time, accomodation and his wisdom. He went out of his way to help me enjoy my stay in Redding. The room that i was given was comfortable, the accomodation is situated in a quiet neighbourhood, free from the sounds of traffic. Although not far from the Bethel church, I would recommend the hiring of a car to get around the city of Redding. David was helpful in showing me around the city of redding from the moment that I arrived. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with david, and would be pleased to go back, if circumstances permit.

David's hospitality was true to the description on his profile. Highly recommend his place given its convenience for Bethel, David's local knowledge, and willingness to help out.

I have been a university professor of music, art, and education with a a passion for world travel, outdoor adventures, healthy eating, and visiting the gym. I have also done all three years of BSSM (Bethel church) and work in their first year program for a revival group pastors as a counselor.

I know Redding very well having lived here over 19 years and will show you around the area and help find places you are looking for. As well, I will help you with some of your transportation needs while you stay here.

I am easy going, enjoy conversing with guests, cooking, chocolate, craft beer, and most deserts (hence the need for the 'gym'). I have provided rooms to rent for visitors for over 10 years and have many returning patrons from the USA and around the globe.

I particularly enjoy ministry and traveling the world. I have a heart for Europe and have traveled there many years by myself and leading students on tours. I have recently taken time to see more of the United States appreciating its vast beauty, culture, cuisine, and history.

I maintain a clean and tidy home and will usually be out of sight most of the time. I like my guests to have space and experience quiet time to feel at home and be comfortable here. This is a place where you can have quiet retreat after your busy days at Bethel and experiencing some of the many things Redding has to offer.

My home is situated in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood conveniently near a creek, forest, trails, and shopping areas within walking distance. It is also one mile to Bethel church and two miles to Simpson University and downtown shopping.

I invite your questions before and during your stay to help solve your travel needs. Feel free to write me as you wish. Blessings and favor as you realize your dreams.
