Where you’ll be

Ferrara, Emilia-Romagna, Italy

Piazza Ariostea belongs to the Renaissance area of the city, with important historic buildings, designed by the famous architect Biagio Rossetti - who also designed the apartment building of the apartment - defined by art critics '' the first modern architect of Europe '', called '' Herculean addition '' from the name of the Duke of Ferrara who commissioned it, Ercole I d'Este. The square is home to the historic Palio di Ferrara, which takes place every year at the end of May. Nearby, walking towards the Palazzo dei Diamanti, stands the Massari park next to the homonymous palace, which inspired the famous novel by the writer Giorgio Bassani ''The Garden of the Finzi Contini '' from which an equally well-known film was directed for directing of Vittorio de Sica.
