Nestled approximately 15 km from Contis Plage amidst pristine natural surroundings, you'll find this former wine cellar dating back to 1835. This historic building, renovated and extended by an architect 12 years ago, graces an expansive 11-acre expanse of traditional "arial landais" land. It offers a unique escape into the heart of unspoiled natural beauty, with the picturesque villages of Levignacq and Uza each situated around 4 km away.

The space
The house's elegant architecture mixes wood, glass, bricks and white. Its panoramic windows will turn your stay into a pure nature experience. The open, glassed-in kitchen has an unobstructed view of an oak grove, and is fully equipped, as is the rest of the house. The main floor is 1800-square-feet with two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, as well as three romantic loft rooms (110 square feet each), offering plenty of space. The house is surrounded by 1500 square feet of mostly-covered wooden decks and therefore usable during any kind of season…. ideal for the apéro, long lunches, BBQs etc. The covered terrace looks out onto approx. 12 acres of open land and then a pine forest at the horizon. There is literally nobody in your view and it is absolutely quiet. The house itself has floor heating and can therefore be used at any time of the year.

Guest access
There are two full bathrooms with both a rain shower as well as a separate WC. There is also an outdoor shower with hot water. The kitchen has an induction cooking field, an oven, a microwave, a Jura coffee maker, a zero noise SIEMENS dishwasher, a BOSCH washing machine and a MIELE dryer. There is a large LIEBKNECHT fridge-freezer too. The kitchen has every utensil imaginable. Coffee beans, spices, cleaning and washing products - all you have to do is pack your suitcase and go shopping in the village for the food your heart desires.
On the ground floor there are two large rooms, one with an ensuite bathroom and the view through the panoramic windows of 10 acres and the forest. The second bedroom has two single beds that can be put together as a double bed. Under the roof there are 3 loft rooms with a height of 5 feet in the middle (150 cm), ideal for children with a king size mattress in each room.
The house comes with all beds prepared and towels for each guest.
Our lovely housekeeper Veronique will be there to greet you, give you the keys and explain the house.
We share the 15 acres (7.5 hectares) with the main house where our 90 year old grandfather lives. He will be there just in case you need any help or advice, but won't bother you in any way.
The house is rather isolated on the 15 acres lot with the view of the forest. It is THE perfect place to unwind. The picturesque village of Levignacq is 3km away. The more animated villages of St. Julien, Mezos and Lit & Mixe with a daily market in the summer are all 7km away. It is 14km to Contis Plage/ beach or Cap de l'Homy beach, a 15 min ride through beautiful landscape. You can also cycle… there are bike paths all the way from Levignacq to Contis Plage. We can help organise bicycles.
The area offers surf schools, horse riding camps and Mimizan, Moliets, Seignosse, Hossegor golf courses are not far.
The proximity to Bayonne, Biarritz, Spain, Bordeaux, the Bordelais wine country and many other small picturesque towns will give the opportunity for outstanding day trips.
