PLEASE READ IN FULL AS THIS FORMS PART OF YOUR SIGNED CONTRACT

Welcome:
• Thanks for booking your stay at “Blue Water Dunes”. Our Goal is to make your stay an enjoyable one. We welcome any comments during or after your stay as feedback is always appreciated.

Check-in and Check-out:
• For summer weekly rentals, Check-in is 4:00pm on Saturday and Check-out is 11:00am the following Saturday. Checking-in early or Checking-out late is not possible over the summer as our cleaners arrive promptly and require the entire time to prepare the cottage for the next group. We (and the next guests) thank you for your cooperation.
• Mid-season and off-season rentals can be more flexible; please refer to your rental application form for specified times.

Parking:
• Parking for up to 5 cars and this property has a garage. Exceeding this parking limitation is grounds for immediate eviction from the property unless authorization is provide in advance of your stay. *** Also note, do not park on the road as this is actively patrolled by parking enforcement and will likely receive a ticket.

Pets (if allowed) must be on a leash at all times failure to have control of your dog is in contempt of local bi-law and are subject to a potential fine.

Cottage Entry:

Electronic Door Entry Code for your stay is 7162 and once you punch that number in, rotate to thumb-lock. When locking the door, turn the thumb-lock the other way and double check that it locked. The cottage must be fully locked with all windows closed before leaving the cottage.

Heating, Air Conditioning and lighting:

This cottage runs on a Forced Air Furnace and Air Conditioning Unit. The Electric heaters for the most part have been disconnected and should be left at 0. Please don’t waste energy by leaving lights on or the Air Conditioning on with window’s open etc. Please use these utilities as you would in your own home. (Thanks)
Indoor fireplace is not to be used in the summer months. Please note if it’s the fall/winter or spring and if you use the fireplace too much the furnace will not engage making the rest of the cottage quite cold.

If you find firewood at the cottage you are welcome to use it on the outdoor fire pit but please replace what you use. *** Make sure a Fire Ban is not in effect – more details further down…

Internet:

Wireless Internet is active in the cottage. “Home” is the wireless network connection and the Password is “Iwantmorespeed”. Please note usage is limited to 2 GB per week. You would be responsible for any usage charges over this amount at a rate of $15.00 per GB. Steaming movies on Netflix and YouTube or downloading large files would definitely result in additional charges. Most carriers work fine so our suggestion is to simply stay on your existing carriers and or use your phone to create a hotspot rather than provide all the members of the family with the wifi code since it is very tough to manage how much date gets used on tablets and smart phones. Providing internet in cottage country is not easy nor cost-effective and unlimited usage is just not offered in this area.

Items to Bring:

The following is a list of suggestions of what to bring on your cottage holiday.
Beach Fun Stuff (beach ball, kite, etc…) Games & books for rainy days
Sun block Water shoes
Sunglasses DVD movies
Beach Towels Cell Phone & Charger
Insect repellant/Spray Medication, if any.
Drinking Water Ice
Groceries Toiletries (soap, shampoo, etc)
Hats Swim suits
Paper napkins/rolls Toilet paper
Dish washing liquid Clothes detergent
Tissues Garbage bags

Water, Gas BBQ, Septic System

Please note the water is from a drilled well and it has been tested as safe to drink. Our preference is to use bottled water and there is a second fridge on the lower level that you can use to stock your water and other items. Please also note that all oils and grease must be thrown out in the garbage and not down the sinks. Also, nothing other than toilet paper should be flushed down the toilets. Your attention to this is really appreciated and helps with the environment - improper use can damage the septic system.

We make all attempts to have propane available for the cottage however if you need to exchange a tank we will reimburse you for your costs. You can exchange the tank in town at Canadian Tire or at the Esso at CR6 and 16th concession.

Fire Pit & Permits

• We have included a fire permit and it’s located on top of the fridge in a red folder; if there is a fire ban you can’t have a fire even with the permit. The fines range from $625.00 - $5,000.00. Plus the cost of the firefighters being dispatched.
• Further information can be requested from the Township of Tiny (705) 526-4204 or www.tiny.ca
• Signs are posted throughout the township of Tiny.
• You must not leave a fire unattended and you must extinguish the fire when done.
• The fire pit must be less than 1 meter in diameter.
• Any fines for improper use will be a responsibility of the renter even if the fine is sent to the “Company”.
• Please read all rules on the front and back of the permit and if you are fined by bi-law for an infraction you must notify the ‘company” within 24hrs of the incident. Failure to advise the company for any warning/visit or offence will be subject to a fee of $500.00.
• The township enforces these rules and people have been fined in the past.

Noise and Noise By-laws

• Tiny Township has a 24 hrs noise by-law. You can’t play any load music on the property and you will get fined for such infractions if you are disturbing the peace of the neighborhood.
• Cottages in this area have been subject to extra scrutiny so failure to comply with the by-laws and general disrespect for neighbors will likely result in a visit and fine from By-law.
• Failure of the renter to inform the ‘Company” of any by-law visit and or infraction will be subject to a fine of $500.00 by the company. You will also by fully responsible for all court costs and fines to “Company” if we are provided a ticket to attend court and fined based on your provincial offences ticket, this will also be your full responsibility.

All Tiny Township By-laws can be found online to www.tiny.ca

Maid Service (Cleaning Service) Garbage Information

• The Cottage is cleaned before all guests arrive and Fresh Linen’s and towels are supplied.
• It’s expected that you leave the cottage in an orderly state; all dishes are to be put away, all food removed from fridge and cupboards etc before leaving and that all the Garbage in put in the bin and excess garbage in the garage. Please leave the cottage in a respectful state.
• Monday is Garbage day; please place recycling and garbage out on Sunday as they arrive early. Paper and plastic must be sorted separately please. The box is located at the end of our driveway and you will find bins inside it. To open it, turn the handle and flip open the top then you can open the doors.
• We have someone that comes by and removes all the extra garbage left in the bin on Saturdays in the summer months only.
• The cleaning service does the final cleaning and replenishing of clean linens and towels for the next guests.
• Do not leave any garbage outside of the garbage bin or the garage as or our forest friends will destroy the bags and cause a huge mess.

The Beach:

• To get to the beach, walk to the end of our driveway and turn right, the first street called Evelyn Street turn right, walk straight down the street. You’ll see the beach access of Tiny Beaches Road South. Don't cut through the backyard short-cut as the neighbour at 76 Wendake doesn't want anyone in their yard.
• Please do not trespass on any of the lots baking onto the beach or use any of their personal boating or other equipment.
• Please take all garbage from the beach when leaving.

Other Rules
