Quiet country getaway just 13 min from downtown Fairhope and about 35 min to the Gulf of Mexico.
This private loft-style garage apartment sits on a peaceful piece of land and is perfect for guests who want space, quiet, and easy access to Fairhope.
There is a great TV viewing area with a very comfortable sectional couch, plenty of room to stretch out & relax while watching your favorite shows.
The second-story patio is a great spot to unwind and catch beautiful sunsets at the end of the day.
The space
Start your day with a cup of coffee on the second-story balcony patio (coffee and creamer provided), then wind down in the evening watching the sunset from that same peaceful spot.
Inside the loft, one of the first things guests notice is the craftsmanship and finishes: split-brick kitchen walls and counters, marble bathroom counter, a tiled shower ceiling, and marble window sills throughout. The bathroom features a large tiled shower with a rainfall shower head and excellent water pressure.
The living area has a large sectional couch with a chaise lounge—perfect for kicking back and watching a show. Guests often ask where the couch came from because it’s that comfortable. The Roku TV is ready for your streaming accounts, and fast internet easily supports streaming and remote work.
The full kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook at home.
The bedroom includes blackout curtains for a great night’s sleep and a very comfortable queen-size bed with an 8-inch memory foam mattress. The bed sits at a comfortable height—easy to get in and out of. The bedroom also has a large closet with a full-length mirror, which guests attending weddings find especially useful, and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV.
For an additional guest, there is an 8-inch memory foam mattress located in the oversized bedroom closet (nearly the size of a small room). Kids especially enjoy having their own cozy space.
The loft is well insulated and stays cool and comfortable with a new air-conditioning system (installed October 2022) and a new water heater (installed June 2022).
You’ll have complete privacy. The loft is fully separate from the main house, with its own private staircase. The patio is partially enclosed for privacy, and you are the only guests staying in this building—there is no one below you.
From the bedroom window, there’s a good chance you’ll spot deer around dusk as they pass through the property from the nearby field.
The loft is pet-free, so guests with allergies or sensitivities can feel comfortable.
For beach lovers, we provide beach equipment for guests to borrow, including a professional body board. There’s also a detailed local beach guide in the loft that outlines public beach access points in the area, including options along the Gulf.

The immediate area around the main house, including the pool, is not part of the guest space and is not available for use due to insurance restrictions. Please supervise young children at all times, as the pool does not have a fence.
Additionally, this is a retired ranch property, and some ranch equipment is present. Extra caution should be taken with young children around the grounds.
Other things to note
The loft has a nice guestbook. Currently it has recommendations of places to eat and things to do. I have grown up in this area. I have a intense love of the water and beaches. For the Summer, I will an ultimate beach guide. This includes the best beaches tailored for every type of experience. From the quick easy trip with kids, to the only beach that you will sometimes only see one or two people..which is almost near impossible with the popularity of this great area.
Smoking inside the loft is strictly prohibited. Smoking inside the loft will result in a $350 smoking fee.
The number of guests staying overnight must match the number of guests listed on the reservation.
I firmly follow my cancellation policy, and travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Neighbourhood highlights
What makes this neighborhood unique is its proximity. We are only 15 minutes south of Fairhope. That means we are 15 minutes closer to the Gulf. Thats a 30 minute round trip saving of drive time to the beach compared to staying in the city limits of Fairhope. So we are really ideally located having the best of both worlds. Short drive to a fun day downtown shopping, dinning, and sight seeing and a easy trip to the gulf for a great day playing in the water. Also, being so close to the city of Fairhope, we are in the country. Our street is lined with some houses, but mostly farm fields and pine trees.
