Where you’ll be

Bandera, Texas, United States

The drive from Highway 16 to the Antler Run Ranch property is absolutely beautiful. While driving up into the mountains you will cross over two bridges with running creeks and see lots of deer and other wildlife.

From the home you have views of dozens of mountains, including Polly's Peak Summit, a local landmark rising 1,828 feet (just 100 feet above the elevation of the home) and amazing sunsets nearly every night of the week. You can't beat the views here, they're some of the best in the area, and one of the top reasons our repeat customers return to stay with us.

The property is more centrally located to attractions, water, entertainment and shopping than the BNB rentals in Bandera city limits. For instance, we're only 25 minutes from Boerne for amazing shopping/entertainment, 20 minutes from the lake in Lakehills, 45 minutes from San Antonio and just 15 minutes from Bandera. If you stay in Bandera, add an additional 15 minutes drive time to the above cities. Wouldn't you rather spend those 15 minutes enjoying a conversation about our beautiful views vs. driving?

We look forward to hosting you!

Hill Country State Natural Area: The park covers over 5,000 acres of scenic landscapes. All of which can be explored by visitors through hiking, biking and/or horseback riding. The terrain offers magnificent views that are unique to the park.
******************
Bandera Natural History Museum: Replicas of Dinosaurs, Ice Age animals, and educational play stations are located on the eight acre grounds. Inside there are over 100 full-body animal mounts positioned in hand-painted dioramas portraying their natural habitats. An international collection of art pieces are displayed in the museum.
******************
Lost Maples State Natural Area: A large, pristine area of beautiful hills and canyons on the upper Sabinal River in the Edwards Plateau Region of Texas. It is designated a Natural Area, rather than a State Park, which means the primary focus is the maintenance and protection of the property's natural state
******************
Garner State Park: A great place to visit for a swim or hike, or to enjoy a relaxing weekend. With 2.9 miles of Frio River winding through 1,774 acres of scenic Hill Country terrain, the park offers lots to see and do. Swim in the Frio River or float its waters on an inner tube, operate a paddle boat, and hike 16 miles of scenic trails. You can also camp, study nature, picnic, canoe, fish, play miniature golf, geocache and ride bikes. And, of course, you can dance. Take a virtual tour with our Interactive Trails Map. If you plan to swim or float at the park, read through our swimming safety tips before you come.
