This is your chance to go off grid. Your night to see every star in the Milky Way. Welcome to the ultimate glamping experience!

Our chic yurt sleeps 4. The interior was meticulously curated to provide you with luxurious amenities while staying true to the camping experience.

Our yurt is the perfect stop just 40 minutes away from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.

The space
We provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. At a full 320 square feet, the space is well-equipped with a full-size memory foam mattress, and two individual memory foam foldable floor mattresses (we'll let you draw straws to decide who sleeps where—ha!). Our decor sends out desert vibes and serves as the perfect backdrop for your Instagram ;) with custom items like hand-crafted weavings by @gstringsthings.

Is there heat? We have a wood burning stove for keeping you warm on those chilly Arizona nights and a propane heater just in case. But please note that is does get very cold in the winter, so bring an extra pair of PJs, thermals and long johns for added warmth :)

Can I cook? The tiny kitchen area offers a two-burner camping stove, french press coffee maker with coffee, mini-refrigerator, pots/pans and basic utensils for prepping a quick meal.

Is there hot water? Right outside the yurt you'll find a small outdoor shower with hot water. NOTE: During the winter months and any other time it is below 40° F we DO NOT offer any running water. But you'll be able to wash off the day all summer long.

Is there a bathroom? We aren't savages! There is a compost toilet and sink for cleaning up in the outdoor bathroom area. We provide towels and soap for you.

Is there electricity? Our solar power system is fully off grid. There are a couple of places for you to plug in your beloved cell phone to get a full charge! But the system can't handle devices that need a lot of power like blow dryers.

Please note: We do not provide wifi. This is your chance to disconnect :) Cell service is mostly available at the campsite, but a short trip back to the highway will give you guaranteed service.

Dogs are allowed during your stay for an additional $25 fee per dog. We ask that dogs do NOT get on the couch or bed to be respectful of other people's allergies.

Guest access
You'll have access to the full grounds.

Other things to note
The yurt is located on 7 acres of land shared with other glamping experiences. We've done our best to keep the sites separate so as to feel secluded, but please know you may see another guest every so often.

In the photos, you'll notice the yurt has a star gazing roof. We had to remove and replace it with a regular roof due to the harsh weather creating too many leaks. But you can always step out for a beautiful view of the starry sky :)

The roads that lead to the yurt are dirt roads and can get muddy in rain or snow. AWD vehicles are recommended, but any truck or SUV should be able to handle it. Cars can maybe handle it, but there’s a chance of getting stuck if it rains or snows and tow trucks are expensive. Our on-site host has tow straps in case of emergency, but it’s not guaranteed he’ll always be in town or available.

It does get very windy on the property. If you're inside the yurt, this may feel alarming. But we assure you that the yurt has been properly secured to the deck and ground. You will not blow away :)

Our yurt is set up to be off-the-grid and runs on solar power. On gloomy days, our solar batteries may not be able to charge fully. In these instances, the fridge may be inoperable. We apologize in advance, but know you can still use the fridge as a cooler. We recommend buying foods that don't spoil easily, like eggs and fruit.

There is almost no light pollution around the yurt. It gets very dark on moonless or cloudy nights. On moonless nights, you may not be able to see your hand in front of your face, but plenty of stars! We have provided an LED lantern and lights inside the yurt. You may also want to bring a flashlight or use your phone light.

Lastly, it can get very cold in the winter. Freezing cold! Please pack accordingly. Before you stay, be sure to look up the weather in Valle, Arizona. Please keep in mind our two personal space heaters can only do so much. Please pack extra warm clothing (thermals and long johns) to keep warm. Refunds will NOT be issued because it’s cold out. We have no control over the weather and want to be upfront about this from the beginning.
We've provided several cozy blankets and a wood burning stove. We've personally stayed in the yurt on a snowy night and did just fine! But if you're really sensitive to the cold weather, this may not be the place for you during the winter.

It's very important for us to be upfront about all of this, as we do not want to be dinged in our reviews for things out of our control. So please be mindful that this is and was always meant to be an outdoor experience.

Location

Williams, Arizona, United States

The property is fairly secluded as the few neighboring homes are spaced far apart. It will be a rare occurrence to see someone drive down the road in front of the yurt. At night there is almost no light at all. Perfect for stargazing!

There are two gas stations and a hotel restaurant/lounge within 10 minutes of the property. Please note that things close early in this town, and we recommend stocking up on snacks/groceries beforehand.

In ideal weather and traffic, you are only 40 minutes from the Grand Canyon!
