The space
The Black Diamond Lodge (1735 SHORT RD. GOLDEN BC) is located 12 minutes northwest of the town of Golden in beautiful Blaeberry Valley. It is situated on a 5 acre property with amazing mountain views from the hot tub or inside the lodge.

Black Diamond Lodge has two, 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom units. Rent the upstairs Burke Suite (on AirBnB), the downstairs JP Suite (on AirBnB) or the entire 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom, 2 kitchen lodge in THIS LISTING. The upstairs Burke Suite has 2 large bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms with heated floors, 1 large closet, laundry, large kitchen/great room with 8 person dining table, 4 person breakfast bar, beautiful rustic furniture, 65" TV, and soaring 14' ceilings and immense floor to ceiling windows looking out at the mountains. The downstairs JP Suite is almost identical, featuring all the same amenities, 8' ceilings and a 55" TV.
Each kitchen is well equipped for all your needs to cook breakfast, lunch or dinner. For your convenience, laundry detergent, hand soap, toilet paper and paper towel will be provided.

Outside, the Burke suite features a large deck running the length of the lodge including a 6 person hot tub at the south end and BBQ and outdoor dining area on the north side. The JP suite features a beautiful patio including a 6 person hot tub on the north end and a BBQ and dining area on the south end.

For summer enjoyment, there is a large deck/pergola in the front yard for more lounging, relaxing and stargazing opportunities.

This unique property is heated by renewable GEOTHERMAL ENERGY.

The Black Diamond Lodge is located 12 minutes northwest of the town of Golden in beautiful Blaeberry Valley. It is situated on a 5 acre property with amazing mountain views from the hot tub or inside the lodge.
Blaeberry River is only minutes away with opportunities for SUP, kayaking, canoeing and rafting in the summer. Hiking the Thompson Trail along the Blaeberry River takes you back to beautiful Thompson Falls. Kicking Horse Resort also has a VIA FERRATA guided climbing course. During the winter, snowmobilers have nearby access to the Blaeberry River Trail with 160km of ungroomed beginner trails and powder stashes with minimal to no avalanche risk. For skiers and snowboarders, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is an easy 30 minute drive, Lake Louise is 60 minutes, Panorama is 90 minutes and Revelstoke is 90 minutes. In either winter or summer, Radium Hot Springs is a 75 minute drive.
Other activities Golden and the surrounding area offers include skydiving, hang gliding, white water rafting, hiking, mountain biking (cross country and downhill), dogsledding, sightseeing, and beautiful scenic drives.
