Location

Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Birch Cliff is a 1942, family-oriented neighbourhood set amidst the idyllic backdrop of Lake Ontario, in southeast Toronto, between the Beach and Scarborough Bluffs, on the waterfront trail.

We are located just east of the Toronto Hunt Club, although secluded, offers easy access to Kingston Road, shopping along Queen Street East, The Beach and downtown via the Lakeshore or Dundas Street.

Kingston Road is a major thoroughfare that arches it's way through the centre of this neighbourhood providing easy access to
- Victoria Park subway by bus
- shopping at Victoria Park and Gerrard street
- streetcar to downtown from the Bingham Loop
- the Danforth Go Train at Main Street.

Go West to get downtown.
Get south to Queen Street East where the beach vibe keeps the area buzzing all year round.
The Queen Street Car cuts east /west across the city where you can get to many sights across the city including Distillery District, CN Tower, SkyDome, City Hall, shopping at Queen West and the Eaton Centre.

We're on the waterfront trail so this is a wonderful area for biking and getting to the beach.
This area has great parks, easy access to the lake and great for bird watching and photography.

There are very few shops open along our block on Kingston Road due to new construction of condominiums.

We are a family of four - teacher, designer, students of political science and engineering - and Ella, our gentle dog. When the kids are at University, we share the coach house on AirBnB. This little cabin was erected in 1942 These wartime bungalows were first homes to Irish and Scottish immigrants during the war. In the 70’s it became a rehearsal hall for a local choir. In the 90’s, a Financial Planner converted it for her office. It is modern, clean, tidy and comfortable. I look forward to hosting and helping you with anything you may need during your stay. Toronto is home so feel free to ask us anything about the city! Check out our Guide Book for more.
