Other things to note
Calendar & Availability

Our calendar is always up to date, so you can trust what you see. If dates appear available, they are! The cabin books quickly, and availability is accurate in real time. If you’re unable to select your desired date range, it means a booking is already in place during that period.

Because reservations come in daily and cancellations are rare, I recommend booking as soon as you find your preferred dates to avoid missing out!

Winter Driving Advisory

During icy winter conditions, our driveway’s slight incline can be tricky for vehicles with only two-wheel or front-wheel drive without winter tires. My husband suggests parking at the top of the driveway and taking the short walk down to check in. This isn’t necessary on all winter days—just when conditions are particularly slippery. ie March sunny days when snow is still present.

Pet & Service Dog Policy

To maintain an allergen-free environment, my policy is strictly no pets, including Emotional Support Animals (ESAs).

(Important Notes on ESAs in Alberta:
   •   ESAs are not recognized as service animals under Alberta law.
   •   Only a qualified mental health professional licensed in your province can issue a legitimate ESA letter. Be aware that online companies offering ESA certifications for a fee are fraudulent.
   •   ESAs only have the same rights as pets in Alberta, meaning they are only allowed in pet-friendly accommodations—which this listing is not.)

Certified Service Dogs

Only professionally trained, credentialed service dogs (such as guide dogs for the blind or those trained for other disabilities) are permitted with proper documentation. The owner must also agree to the following:
1. Kenneling the dog at night.
2. Not leaving the dog unattended on the property.
3. Keeping the dog on a leash at all times when outside the kennel.
4. Ensuring the dog stays off all furniture and beds.

Thank you for understanding and respecting these policies!
